I filed my AOS on September (September 25th, Category F2b). Do you guys think is worth to expedite EAD with work letters? I have two interviews coming next Monday. I know it would take 2-6 weeks to receive EAD with expedite request, but at this point I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I've seen Someone expedite their EAD due to a job offer in addition to her reasons they were hit by a hurricane so that was another additional reason since they needed to rebuild and I think they approved it.

For F2b I have no clue,it doesn't hurt to try though.

I just received the letter. In the app it still says that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

My EAD and AP is still on the state 'Case received'....is that suppose to change at some point?

Nope, sometimes they just don't have to update it online, but they do system maintenance every Wednesday so it could update, but  seriously though if I got my letter I wouldn't give a s*** what online says, just tired of waiting,I can't get out of the house which makes me go mental my mind is used to working, excuse my language.

Uscis has had a new website for a while(1.6 yrs old)but you have to sign in I bet your case is updated on that one.

What do you mean how it goes from there?

U go to your biometrics- it lasts anywhere from 10-30 mins

Then you wait. Either u're gonna get a GC interview at your local office-- then no need for EAD/AP

or ur EAD/Ap gets approved first by NBC

Hey sorry my question wasn't clear.....I meant to ask how long it was going to take USCIS to get me my EAD or interview after biometrics.

Wow congratulations!! Can you share a little of your experience?hehe..

Well my interview was the easiest......I never expected that.

I had 2 binders that I couldn't even carry due to how heavy they were.....I literally had so many documents as evidence but none was asked for apart from I-134 and tax returns.

Questions(5) were all basic just basic.

But I was just happy and smiley all through the 3 minutes.

Got the case number. :jest: So what next? The case tracker just says follow the 6 steps or whatever... Do I just wait them to contact us? Or how can I check the status? In transit/ready???

In the meantime you can get all documents ready including I-134 , fill form ds-160 (save it don't submit yet) and do research on the medical process in your countries embassy.
