It took My RFE 30 days , but it was approved so keep the faith!

I like wish everyone in my VJ family," way to many to list" a Blessed and Merry Christmas, and thank each one of you for your friendship,advice and encouragement and some laughter. May we all have a Blessed  and Happy life with our future partners.To those who are in the final stages congratulations, Because I know it was a long and stressful process. To those who are going crazy waiting for answers just always have Patience, keep the Faith and Pray always, because God has everything in place for us in His perfect time.    Noa1 received May 15 - Noa2 approval Dec. 15  Now the wait from NVC  but I know that is nothing compared to the last 7 months. Put the seat belts on, it is all down hill from here!  Thank you God! Happy birthday Jesus.

Just want to say congrats to those that received their NOA2 this week and case #s from NVC. As we head into Christmas, I wanna which everyone and Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays if you celebrate something else), and I hope you all are safe and have a joyous time!!!
 
For those that are still waiting with me for a NOA2 or anything at this point....I will keep you all in prayer and hopefully before the day is over Santa and his reindeer will drop something in our mailboxes today or tomorrow. Either way, chin up and smile because believe it or not we are closer today than we were yesterday and the days before.
 
And I just want to thank you all that have said so many encouraging words of kindness and sent much love and positivity towards my Reni and I. Believe it or not, WE ARE ALL FAMILY!!! Blood and DNA has nothing to do with what makes a family and I have a love and respect for each and everyone of you!!! I wouldn't have made this far without you pulling me through this. Thanks for the laughs, thanks for letting me vent, and thanks for your strength!!!!

Hi everyone,  May 30 filer here. I sent a case Inquiry via email last night my time and got a reply this morning from USCIS.  It says they sent a letter of request for further evidence on December 18 and it will arrive in 14 days. I just want to ask how long do they usually approve Cases with RFe? I know every case is different but what is the common range of waiting the approval after sending the evidence being asked by USCIS?  We hired an agency BTW to help us prepare the packet to avoid RFe but unfortunately we got a notice of RFE.

Tomorrow will be 7 months without any news.

I’m 17th filer, got RFE and they replied about receiving request on 28th Nov....waited for 3 weeks after that!! 
I'm so happy that I'm going to cry.

You need to provide, tax forms/transcripts, at least 3-6 months of paystub from your current employer, employer verification letter that shows the date of hire, your annual salary or hourly rate (depends on how you are paid), your title, and your current status (whether you are full time or part time). You can provide or should provide bank statements only if you are providing proof such as CDs, savings or other sources of income that will help push you over the poverty line. If you are self-employed, typically bank statements are also used for proof. Other than that, bank statements don't really show proof of income; they show spending patterns. Just because a person receives a direct deposit and it shows on the bank statement does not mean that they are currently employed which is why the other supporting documents that I listed above is needed.

THANK YOU !!! It means a world to me. Yes, I got the NOA2 on the 7th, it was dated Dec 4th, and until today I got no email, app update, scan, nothing, just a hard copy letter in the mail.

NO Sirrrrr. Took a leave of absence to retrieve this little bit of sanity that I had left. But you Sir .... CONGRATULATIONS !!! It was well deserved! You did a gargantuan job for this community and I appreciate it, and thank you for the millionth time !!! I will remember you as long as I live. 
 
Here is how it went .... I got the approval in mail on 7th Thursday and was beside myself, totally unexpected. Friday, I woke up in fog, checked in here and let you guys know that I was approved. Same day as I was driving I decided to take a 10 day "mental vacation", I felt I needed to get some rest. I slept that weekend 9th + 10th like a baby, all day all night. Would get up, eat, refresh and fall back out. I never realized how much this all weighed on me until the burden was lifted off my shoulders. It was a relief that can not be put into words, something surreal. Although I was dying to come here, I banned myself from doing so. 
 
My self-ban expired yesterday, so last night I logged in and started reading this topic, from page 30 something where I was last. I read every single post you guys wrote out of respect to all of you, because you guys kept me going, and THANK YOU for that. So today I finished 50+ pages, and than said hello with my little crazy squirrel . So now, I have 100 or so pages to read on the June topic, they all deserve it, every letter they wrote was love and pain, and I will absorb it all, and then I will check back with them. That's my little family.
 
Miss you all again, and congrats to all that moved forward, NOA2 or NVC, and POE crowd I envy you (in a good loving way - no sin), and you guys that are holding on, don't give up, what doesn't kill you makes you only stronger. LOVE YOU ALL ! 

203 days with rfe.Still no news,i wish Santa will bring our NOA2.

To any other May filers waiting... keep the faith.  Don't stress.  It will come!  I found out after a callback from Tier 2 today... she told me "congratulations, you were approved yesterday".  The online system didn't show.  As soon as I got off the phone, it was updated to "approved" online as well.

Guys! After almost 2 months I finally have my NVC number assigned! It was assigned yesterday, December 18th. So:

NOA1 : May 15th 2017
NOA2: October 27th 2017
NVC Number assigned: December 18th 2017

I'm going to update my timeline right away!

day 211 here with no RFE....just flapping in the wind. Called my lawyer who became very aggressive and defensive when I asked if he could call USCIS on my behalf to see if will help. I guess I won't be calling him back ever again. I would never recommend him to ANYONE! I just want this process to be over so my fiancée and I can move on with our lives. I had high hopes of an approval before Christmas but I guess I was wrong. This process is very stressful and draining. I did get an email saying:

I leave today to see my fiancee again with nothing new to tell her.  So frustrated!  Our 7 month is day after Christmas!  3 trips this year and shouldn't be coming back alone this time.  Trying to keep hope but just exhausted from this and then nvc issue ahead isn't helping either.  I wish everyone best of luck!  I'll try to check and update but won't be back till New Year from trip.  My case is: WAC1790342963 if y'all see it come through, lol.  Have a safe Christmas y'all and a happy new year!

Finally APPROVED, 30 days after they received my reply for the RFE. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers. 7 months to the day of the Noa 1 received. May 15 filer - Approved Dec.15. Some advice to those still waiting, call USCIS at least 2 times a week, like Monday and Friday and ask to speak to a Tier 2 officer. I have done that for the past month and I think they relay the message to the officer working on your case and they get tired of hearing it and do something about it. Just my opinion but it seemed to work for me. Another thing I learned from a Tier 2 officer is that USCIS has to have a decision within 7 months of Noa1 received date if not then you can file an inquiry and that is not good for the officer working on your case, they probably catch hell from their supervisors if an inquiry is filed. Keep the Faith, do not give up and Pray always, worked for me. Thank you to all my May filer family for all the advice and support. A big shout out to Shoegum who is a big help to all of us for His Scans. 
 

To update youguys, 10 days after my POE, we got our marriage license today and the weddig will happen on the 30th 😍

Got Noa2 text notification yesterday. Checked on USCIS and was approved Friday  Big huge sigh of relief.

Today marks another milestone for me....210 days of waiting for a NOA2 or RFE (exactly 7 months)!!! I pray that I will hear something before this week is over to get my Christmas present or at lease before my birthday which is January 6th - I'm flying out to stay with  my fiancé for 11-12 days and I would really like to have heard something before then.
 
Congrats to all that have received their NOA2's - especially since we can now see and confirm that the tracker, email/ text notification and USCIS website are pointless and do not work. I hope that maybe I will get mine in the mail this week like some of you have.
 
Just asking everyone to keep us in prayer or in your thoughts (if you're not one to believe in prayer) as we still wait to hear something...anything at this point.
