186 days for NOA2, a month for NVC and a week for embassy letter. Now more wait for interview date to open. It really feels exhausting to wait this long. But I know it will be worth it in the end.

Hi folks, my dearest sympathies to those with RFEs, denials, and no NOA2 yet.  I suppose I should feel very fortunate.

Has anyone in NOA2 had their case assigned but sit "at NVC" for over two weeks?  I was hoping to breeze through this step, but still waiting for it to be sent overseas since case assignment on July 5th.

Six months will be more than enough for us, just need 30 days at most.

My fiancee is on the ball.  She got our medical exam set up today.  As mentioned, the crucial document here is a form with your KEV case number on it.  For us we'll go with the re: email from asknvc@state.gov that states our Case Number, Beneficiary ID, and Invoice ID number.  They wanted a printed piece of paper with the address she'll be moving to in the USA with me, too.

I may call the NVC today to see if we can get movement on sending it over to Kyiv, CEAC status tracker still says "At NVC." https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker

So, you withdrew the K1 because the embassy put you in AP.  And within weeks have dropped Irina, your fiance, and are contemplating another woman?
Yet, you were upset about the embassy's indecision?  Sounds like they made the right decision for Irina.

Just got our NOA2 today, hurrah!  On the Ukrainian side, we'll go ahead and get the police certificate.

Over here in USA, can I occupy with myself with something in the meantime?

I'm understanding that in a week or two, I should call the NVC to ask for my case number, and then I can get started on the DS-160.

As an FYI to others, even with the form you fill out in order to request it, I don't think people are getting email and text notices on their status updates.  However, if you log into your USCIS account, you can configure those notifications and they'll happen.  Thank goodness I figured this out over the weekend, got my NOA2 texted while Facetiming at lunch, and it was a joyous moment for us!

@Ducker Time to get the financial stuff ready. I-134, tax transcripts, 1040's, w-2's, letter of employment, bank letters and more evidence of relationship. Been there, done that. As soon as your NVC case # is available....call the medical IMO in Kiev and be ready, because it is fast from this point on, till you do AOS. Good luck.

As as FYI i got a lycamobile sim card today to test out the quality. For $19.99 a month (no contract - its pay as you go) you can call anywhere in the uS Free, many different countries and anyone on the Kyvistar network. THe call quality is great. Its actually using a Tmobile tower so in essence its tmobiile service.

I highly do NOT recommend them. Two people I’ve seen had Rapid Visa mess up their process. One guy had his visa flat out denied after the interview. Another one, the other day, Rapid Visa told them they’re  NOA 2 (approval notice) doesn’t expire for a year and that’s not true at all! Their NOA 2 is expired now and that sets them even further back. Don’t use Rapid Visa.

i had 0 knowledge on immigration when I first started and I’ve managed to bring my husband over to the US on a K1 with no problem. We’re doing adjust of status now!

I have a Google Fi phone. The rates are cheap and you can hear very clearly. It's possible to use Google voice from any computer and make a call. The rates are the same.

This is the link I was sent by my fiance. She said you don't need an apostille and if you pay the $20 fee you can get it in 2-5 days and be done with it.
