a nvc case app would be a good idea, doubt its possible though
They could get one created to access the CEAC site but you know it depends on how many people clammer for it, and whether they get the funding and go ahead to do it.

Im dec.22 filer I got an email today Fr. USCIS and its Approval notice..Almost 4 months and thank you lord
Congrats Neragail!
Also congrats to all that got thier NOA2 yesterday!
-
Remember NVC and USCIS are 2 different parts of the government so I doubt a USCIS app would work for NVC case.
It funny how USCIS doesn't even reference NVC on their NOA2 and just says it sent the case to The Department of State (A giant department that contains the NVC).
-
On April 18, 2016 ,Case Was Sent To The Department of State
Congrats on your case being sent to NVC!

I'm in the waiting game with everyone else, hanging out in the Nebraska USCIS paper pile. There is no DCF available in Australia where live, or NZ where we are moving to in the meantime ... They only do it for emergency situations, as of a few years ago unfortunately.
Oh ok, the reason I was saying that cause there were so many here that got their NOA2 in a month, filing from abroad, and they didn't even expect it. Blanche, one of the first one's here told me the same thing for Israel but they got approved in a month anyway.
-
Whoever crashed this party will be considered one of us
I got a good and strong confidence, April will be a great month for most of us (fingers crossed for myself).
Yup for Nebraska service center folks it looks like it'll be a great month! I hope the VJ stats are off but, Texas looks like its lagging about a month behind Nebraska.

Oops yes I actually meant to quote both of you. RSDP about the baby news, and yourself about how the baby doesn't have to be born in the US to get citizenship easily if one parent is a USC.
I see RSDP does get DCF... Lucky! Us over here in Australia unfortunately don't :-(
Good luck to you all :-)
Oh I think I am confusing you or me or both a little.
RSDP is going back to US and having her baby there while waiting for her husband to get his Visa. Her's is not a DCF.
You said you are both abroad, do you mean both abroad in Australia? If he is filing the I-130 petition in Australia it ends up being like a DCF for you.
-
Congrats on your baby news! Just thought I'd pitch in here even though I'm not a december filer (I'm just seeing what month they're on as I'm march haha).
My hubby and I are expecting too. We're both abroad, and will be in New Zealand for the birth. I just have to get the birth certificate quickly and ensure both names are on it, then there is paperwork to file with it to your local US consulate to "register the birth" within 10 days. From what I've seen, that means your baby will have US citizenship. Remember though that you wil need to still get baby a passport to be able to enter the USA. We are doing dual citizenship so will get her NZ one and her USA one, and she may just travel on a visitor permit if we have to leave before her USA passport comes through.
Hi TheSmiths, oh no that's not me with the baby news, its RSDP
Maybe you meant to quote her instead of me. Congratulations to you on your soon to be baby!!! Yes thats right your baby will be a USC, and do the CRBA (I believe that's the acronym) to register her with the Consulate.
You're filing from abroad so I believe you will get approved very quickly as you are essentially bypassing USCIS, since I think you fall into the DCF (direct consular filing) category. If you have been married at least 2 years you will get 10 year permanent residence in US. If it's less you have to remove conditions before you get your Green Card.

We received our NOA2 today as well! NOA1 was on Dec. 21, so 116 days isn't bad at all.
Congrats to you and KH7!!! Its been like a whole week since any of us got NOA2. I was beginning to think I inadvertently doomed the December filers when I wished everybody their NOA2s!

Really, you such look like better than lawyer, you know why, I tryed the 3 lawyers but they didn't give me satisfied answer but every time you trying to give me a real and easy answer, such you are a great, I pray-say for you
Thanks Mkate, well you are from Nepal, so maybe you have saying like this, Help people what you can, and at some point it comes back to you.
-
Thank you, thank you soo much look, I though you are my lawyer, you trying to solved my all questions, good bleed you always, and again thank you soo much my friends,
Oh you are welcome MKate. That is what is so great about VJ, People will give you better information than lawyers do!

And also in the letter, we can call nvc after 30 days, so is right or we can call now? The nvc send me any letter when they receive the package?plz
USICIS sends your package to NVC so it can take a week or so to get there. Considering your service center is California and NVC is in Vermont, it could take a little longer.
You can call NVC but they will tell you they didn't get your case.
I don't know how NVC notifies you these days, but you can call them in one or 2 weeks.

Look, I just gat a i797 notice of action, it is every thing here without my wife aline no.., is here "receipts number , case type, receipt date, priority date, petitioner Aline no..,notice date, page, benefacery name and case type, but I didn't find my wife Aline's number, is gating any trouble?
No I think its ok, several years ago USCIS used to put the beneficiaries Alien number in.
This is what I was trying to figure out. DeeDah did not have her alien number in it also. So I am thinking this is normal. There is no need to give the Benefiary this number until after the embassy interview, when the Visa is approved.
It would help if other people who got their NOA2s let us know this but so far I wasn't able to find out.
-
Thanks guys. I need to get back for the drs. And I have started some stuff for the nvc and yes the time has move alot quicker out here. I was going bananas in the states.
Oh yes, and you probably want baby to be born in US also so you don't have any extra work to bring your baby to US.
-
Ok guys seems like it's our turn.... I have been reading and trying to stay active with you guys but I had decided to spend a few months with my hubby am still here in Haiti and will be heading back as soon as this paper work says approve. Prayers going up for all of us. I guess I am grateful they have not send any rfes my way..... still fingers crossed..... much love
Ps we also just found out that we are expecting..... so hopefully all goes well and in time for us to be together for this....
Hi RSDP, yes hadn't heard from you for a while. Glad to hear you went off to Haiti, I know the wait was becoming very hard on you! Thats also wonderful news that you are expecting, congratulations! Well you're with your hubby now so I'm sure the time flies much quicker!
Actually most of the NVC work you can probably get done from Haiti, unless you need to go back to get other things done.

Wish your looky star shines on me and the rest of December filers
))
Yes I guess thats right let Looky stars and Daylight shine on all the rest of Deceber files!
Wish all December filers NOA2 very soon!
-
Congrats Georgel. Looky seems to be your lucky star, he just wished you to be approved soon then the next day you were approved. Amazing.
Oh by the way Daylight, wish you get your NOA2 soon!
'Daylight come n we wanna go home'!
-
Congrats Georgel. Looky seems to be your lucky star, he just wished you to be approved soon then the next day you were approved. Amazing.
Oh Daylight, I make no such claim that I have any such influence with the alignment of the stars!
-
My petitions were approved today. I have just received the email notification. NOA1 date was 9th Dec 2016. I wish you all to get your approvals soon too.
Congratulations Georgei, I think we need to let it be known, "Post on this thread and get your NOA2". That makes 2 that did it right after posting, the first was Happy, just the other day!
Now just to tackle NVC and embassy interview!
-
I have benefited a lot from finding this forum to make my waiting easier. That's why I decided to join and give some info back whenever that is possible.
Thank you All.
Hi Georgei, yes thats what its all about and especially since most of us have to wait at least 4 to 5 months just to get our NOA2s it'd drive us stir crazy. Welcome, hope your NOA2 time is coming soon also!
-
thanks for ur concern looky, firstly am not tryna shoot it off immediately and am not the one sending them the documents,my hubby will when we have everything, secondly we aren't just sending call logs, and they actually pin pointed what and what they wanted(twas stated in the letter),we hace already sent affudavit...buh anywayz thanks again,we are just trying to be careful.
Ok good! Sorry from your posts I couldn't figure out what was going on.
-
Hey looky hope ur good...just a quick question, just wanted to know if the evidence we are sending back should be notarized... Tnxx
Hi Sophjosh I'm not sure notarization really matters. I'm more worried that you seem to be trying to shoot this stuff off so quick without looking into everything.
I mean this is an RFE, if they're not happy with what you send them, they could deny your petition.
Assuming they are asking for relationship evidence:
If all you are sending them is call logs. Look for more evidence!
Did you look into getting affidavits from people that know of your relationship?
Do not rush into it without thinking it through. Thats my best advice without knowing what they are asking for.

Dec filers my case just approved today!!!
Wow Congratulations! You know is it just a coincidence that a day after you joined this thread you got approved? Nah I think not, I think this is just a Good Luck thread!!!
December 2015 I-130 Filers
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
There's a pinned "Yes You can visit" thread in the Top IR1 / CR-1 forum link, with people's experiences.
Basically its what Sanil said. But the thing is the border guards have a mind of there own, and a mood of there own. Their thing is: You are married to someone in the US and want to come for 3 months, how can we be sure your not just going to hang out in the US and stay forever?
So you want to show them very good reasons why you have to go back. Return tickets etc.
It really depends some may let you pass thru with some simple question and others may make you feel like you're in an interrogation box.
Don't know it really depends on you. Good luck!
