Thank you.
And within the same section C question 15, that is the relative's name and address of present employer?
it doesn't say "relative" so wanted to double check
Yes I know I almost did the same thing. Yes section C, question 15 is in the right column which is for the relative. I agree its confusing!

I'm hoping to file the K-1 129F package this week. I have a question on the address I put on form(s). I am selling my current house and buying another house. Both are under contract with a tentative closing date of 5/31/16 for both transactions. At this point in time, I have listed my current address on all forms, including "address in the US where your fiancé intends to live", although realistically there is no way she will be at my current address by the time the process is over, she will be at the newer address.
For now is it best to just leave my current address and then update it at a later time, i.e. before the interview ?
Thanks.
Yes right now USCIS is mainly interested in how to contact you. The addresses can be changed when needed.

Hi everyone,
In section C of I-130 form (Information about your relative (continued)) question 17 asks to list spouse and children of relative.
I am petitioning for my husband (relative). Does that mean that I have to list myself in question 17? Wouldn't that be redundant?
Thank you for your advice
Yes list yourself. It is redundant but the form is very general and meant for other family type immigration also so its covering all those.

Looky: hopefully you can manage to get IR-1, it is painful going through removing condition process. Sometime people's cases are just denied because of very stupid reasons.
Yes we will get the IR-1. NVC lets you go as fast or as slow as you want, so if somebody wanted they could extend the process for a year.
Also after knowing her for nearly14 years I have no more patience after this for having to prove anything about our relationship!
-
Quite a number of us want that snail mail
Move on to the NVC and share with us your journey, you will do great there.
Hi Daylight, really I expected your NOA2 to come before mine. I mean this was that Slow Tortoise and Speedy Hare race. You know Nebraska being the Hare and Texas being the Tortoise. So how in the world did the Tortoise come out the winner??? Oh well miracles work in strange waysI guess
Actually I wasn't worried about a speedy NOA2. I want my wife to have the interview after we have been married for 2 years so she gets the IR-1 visa. But we're not far off, we'll be at our 2 year anniversary in 3 full months.
Yeah I'll still be around. I think of NVC sort of like what you had to do to get the I-130 petition together, only for NVC there's a big focus on the Beneficiary and even more data to gather and documentation to put together. There's still some waiting involved but not nearly as much waiting (for the lucky involved as the USCIS phase.
Also this parts new to me, haven't been through it before.

Congratulations Looky!!!! I'm very very happy for you, finally you got approved and here you go again
Hi Fatigo, thank you very much! So I am curious whatever happened for your case, did you have some interview yet at the Ankara?
-
Congratulations to all those approved, hang in there to those still waiting, nobody's had their case arrive at NVC yet?
NVC is the bit that scares the hell out of me ?
I don't get on here much, are there any others fr the UK going through London filing in this thread?
Hi Floridays, Our case is going through London also,
We've had several people go to the NVC stage, just they probably are in the NVC filers threads.
Its mostly about paying the fees and filling out online forms with lots of data.
Here's a link I think is very helpful for NVC, it takes you step by step with examples through the process:
-
Congrats looky ! so the NoA2 was sent by snail mail or email to you
Hi Daylight, thanks!
Yes only through snail mail. Yesterday NOA2 Hardcopy just magically appeared in my physical Mail Box!
The MyUSCIS thing still says 'Case Was Received' The last update date is still 12/21/15
I know from the past that for some people the case status thing never worked, at least on the old system, but I guess its still doesn't work for at least one person!
-
No looky haven't even sent it in yet...told ya..am not d one sending it...probably will send it in this weekend...... Tnxx
Hi Sophjosh ok just curious, yeah you told me your husband does it but he's not on this thread
-
congrats looky ..so happy for u....u sure deserve it
Thanks Sophjosh! What about you, did you get your NOA2 or hear anything?
-
Omg congrats, Looky!!!!
Hey thanks DeeDah! Thought you might already have had your interview and landed in the US. Well I guess no such luck, I see you have your interview coming in a month. Well you are getting there!
-
Wow thanks everybody. I'm not sure but I may have been the first one from Texas to get approved. There are a lot of people yet to be approved.
I feel like the USCIS officer may have helped my case out a little. This isn't my first petition and I think we were an open and shut case to get approved.
Thanks all and get approved will ya already!

Congrats and finger croos✌️
Thanks MKate, wow I thought you were going to be a month or 2 ahead of me since you come out of CSC.
-
Wow! Congrats Looky! I'm really happy for you. And you got the lucky jackpot #777 post in this thread!
Good for you, you're definitely the most active one here, so I kinda feel like you deserve it for getting this thread together and keeping it active. Thanks and congrats again!
WOW #777 hey thats Sprinkles and Icing on the cake!
Thanks Reggie hope yours comeis n soon.
-
Congratulations!!!!!
Thank you very much JFH, one big hurdle down. Didn't expect it but now have to switch gears and start getting all that NVC data and stuff together! Lots of work, but its a good kinda work!
-
Well this is weird and very good news! I received our NOA2 in the mail!
Case Status has always only said Case Received. The NOA2 notice date is April 18th.
Wow what a surprise for being a Texas filer got it a month earlier than expected.

Hi Looky, well actually what Im thinking is just because of the decree is what they needed, then just add up that bona fide evidence looking for some latest proof we can get such as latest call logs/chats,emails,transfer money records,cards.. bec we already submitted most of our evidences the first time which includes our call/msg logs bfore I went there for our wedding, also our pics together, plane tickets, hotel receipts. But we already had submitted our current calls/chats after I came back here in US up to March (Ive made 4 snapchats each month) and the decree. So Im really hoping to get an approval soon so I can request a vacation to go back there for my husband's interview to support him and hopefully have him with me when I return here in US.
Well thats good then!
If it was just the decree, they have nothing to evaluate so in 2 weeks or so would still be my guess.
-
Thank u so much Looky...do u have by any chance know or have read anyone same case as mine and how long did they finally got their approval? But anyway, ill be posting with any updates so in case anyone here same case as mine could help each other. Thanks again for accepting me here
Oh this thread is for everybody, don't thank me
Your RFE is very specific to your relationship so there's no telling. It really depends on why they thought your case was not bonafide? Did you send the divorce decree with your initial petition?
-
Hey guys,is it ok for me to join this thread?Im a November filer but unfortunately got an RFE in March requesting for proof of bona fide relationship and divorce decree. Currently, the status online says they receive my response to RFE on April 4 but until now no approval yet..so I guess Im here with some of you guys waiting. I just wana get some updates from other cases but would appreciate any help and encouragement of possible approval soon. Anyway goodluck to us all and congrats to all lucky ones who already got their approvals and now beginning their journey towards NVC.
Hi Myangel8, welcome, sorry to hear about your RFE. Well they've only had your response for about 2 weeks, and who knows when they actually started working on it. Don't know for sure, they have to evaluate your response, hopefully you'll hear in 2 weeks or so. Good luck!
-
Ok whats going on! i guess I'm seeing double!
-
Still waiting over here! One good thing that happened was I noticed I actually had my NOA1 date wrong. I was going by the date they mailed the letter, but the notice date is the 18th, not the 21st.
I also started a new job recently and work with some Americans from US CBP. I've also met some people from ICE and DoS...they seem to find it amusing when I tell them I'm going through the visa process. They're also sympathetic because they know how long it takes!
Hi JLovesA, was wondering what happened to you. Your NOA1 date is the same as Sanil's but his was at Nebraska. Yours is at Texas right? Unfortunately Texas had fallen asleep for a month and so there lagging!
-
Hey guys,
Finally got NOA2. Just checked the USCIS website and found out! NOA1 date was 12/22 so at less than 4 months (118 days). All other December filers should be getting theirs ASAP too! Now to figure out how long the rest of the process takes.
Congratulations! Unfortunately Texas is a month behind Nebraska so those will get processed in May.
-
Jikky, Has NVC received your case yet? Please keep us posted.
Remember CSC is in California and NVC is in Vermont. Happy had his petition sent 11 days after his NOA2, so it can take 2 weeks or more to get there and for NVC to get it in their system. But it doesn't hurt to call them if you get anxious.

I would say the same as JFH, EXCLUSION. The options other than Exclusion talk about taking him from inside the US. He was not allowed entry into the US so he was not technically in the US.
But what I would do is attach a document explaining what you just explained in your post. That way it explains why you checked the Exclusion box.
