Finally got my Oath ceremony Scheduled for 09/28/2022!!!

Got my notification for the Oath Ceremony today too, Houston local USCIS office! July 30th...great news.

Hi everyone, just had my interview N400 and Pending I751 . Everything went easy and nice. Officer was really nice person and kept joking , i did not feel as this interview at all, like we were hang out with a friend. My husband attended to the interview with me. Officer said it shows a lot especially when it based on 3y marriage to US Citizen. He asked 6 Civil Questions and asked to write and read out loud 1 sentence. Asked about our marriage standard questions, when we met , how we met, what year we got married, how many kids together we have. Did not ask any documents we submitted. Only asked for my passport and GC. Since I have minor kid whose I751A also pending he said i give you letter of your N400 Aprovval but will hold on it until we figure out with your kid's pending petition of RC. He said it needs to be done before I become a US Citizen to not complicate case for my kid. Thank you ALL guys for your support and wishes. I will update my case as it goes. @Sidpro This is actually not new, I've read where candidates' Oath Ceremony were cancelled before the actual date. This one is looking like it's directly from the Houston Field office, which I hope they should be able to fix in no time.  What's the update, have you heard anything from the USCIS Houston office.

You are going to be fine. Try to know the names of your State Senators and Reps.

Thanks!!!! Within 5 mins it was updated that my Oath ceremony was going to be scheduled. Then I just checked and it says it was mailed. Yayyyy!!!!! 

First of all - Congratulations on passing your interview!
 
The possible reason behind you not getting "an approval" decision right away, would be because there is someone above your interviewer who would ultimately review the process before final approval.
 
So, what's next?
 
Your interviewer is going to recommend your application for approval and submit it for quality review (You won't know this)
Once approved, you'll be placed in line for "Oath Ceremony" and later receive your Oath Ceremony date. 
All of these events can happen within the next 72 hrs. or more.
Just keep your fingers crossed and expect only the best. 
 

There are three sections of the Civics Naturalization Test.
a. American Government
b. American History
c. Integrated Civics (Geography, Symbols, Holidays)
 
There are many questions with their definitions that cover all the  three areas. 
E.g.
What is an amendment?  A change or addition to a constitution
What does the constitution do? -
What is freedom of religion?
What is rule of law?
 
You will be asked 10 questions and required to get at least 6 correctly. You just need to understand what they all mean because the questions will be randomly selected. But the good thing is that the definitions are easy and short, so you wont have to memorize too many things.
If you have a android phone, go to the Google Play Store and download this app " Practice Civics Test" it will help you a great deal. Use to learn and also test yourself.

Update:
I finally had my interview today without it getting cancelled! hahaha I passed it and an now just waiting in the USCIS waiting area to be called for the Oath Taking.
 
Wohoo! But dang, it was a good thing I was prepared to answer the officer’s questions. I was asked a lot of questions about my marriage and divorce:
When and how did I met my ex wife. How did we end up getting married. How long we were married. Why we divorced. How long were we living together and were separated. If were still married when we filed for my ROC. And she was going back and forth with her computer and my paper stack of documents which I submitted from way back during the AOS process which were already sitting on her desk.
But it wasn’t bad actually. I feel like I was overthinking on how they were going to treat me. As long as you have the answers to their questions, I think it went well and the officer wasn’t rude or anything. She was just doing her job. So, I managed to stay calm.
 
By the way, she did ask for my certified divorce decree! It was a good thing that my original interview schedule was postponed because that gave me time to request for a certified copy of my divorce decree. God knew and it all worked out.
 
I was then asked all the Yes or No questions. I was tested for the civics part:
What is an amendment?
What is the Constitution?
What is the capital of the US?
Who is the Speaker of the House?
What are three of the 13 original colonies?
Who makes the federal laws?
 
I was asked to read a sentence on a tablet and asked to write an answer.
 
After more questionings here and there, she took a photo of me and made me check my info on a tablet and made sure all my info were correct.
 
And then, I was told congratulations. I just need to wait in the waiting room again to be called for the Oath Ceremony.
 
And here I am, typing this out.. waiting Lol But, I’m so glad I passed. It has indeed been a journey everyone! God is good! 😊

Based on my findings on this forum and other forums, 9 out of 10 SRCs are getting their cases approved without any interview, after being transferred to NBC. 
I'd say to be on the look out for the approval any moment from now.  They are moving faster that I had imagined.

Dec. 16th 2020 : Case transferred to NBC lee summit for standard processing.
Feb. 11th: New Card Being Produced.

If your receipt number starts with "SRC, EAC, VSC, LIN", be on the look out because USCIS is really moving fast with those applicants by waiving interviews. It is the same story on ***removed*** forum. 
This is why:
During this session, the speakers explained the circumstances under which Forms N-400 and I-751 may be pending concurrently, clarified USCIS’ current processes when handling and adjudicating these concurrently pending forms, and allowed stakeholders to share their experiences with this process. For example, the speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination. '

Just want to let you know I received my 10 yrs green card in the mail today. Thank you all for the help. See you all soon for naturalization 😊 below is my time line! 
 
01/25/2021 - received 10 yr GC in the mail
01/19/2021 - Case was approved
01/18/2021 - new card being produced
12/21/2020 - case transferred to NBC
12/14/2020 - biometric letter received 
11/14/2020 - check was cashed
10/27/2020 - package was received in AZ
10/26/2020 - sent package

My dependent still says case transferred to a new office. 

Just an update! I got new status update that new card bring produced. !! Oh em gee!!! My case was transferred dec 21/22!!!
