  1. @Mike E What is she mails the letter (with the officer's name & field office address), will it still to the intended officer?
  2. So sorry about your case. Your best bet at this point is to reapply right NOW! Don't appeal anything because it will waste your time and might not work eventually. When I filed mine, I used the USCIS Early Filing Calculator but didn't submit right away. All I did was, filled it out, saved my progress, and submitted 4 days after. Goodluck to you.
  3. Congratulations! Most states are not allowing family members except if the person is bringing an interpreter. When I went for my Oath Ceremony (Texas), they didn't allow any of the applicants to bring in any guests. Which state are you?
  4. @Sidpro This is actually not new, I've read where candidates' Oath Ceremony were cancelled before the actual date. This one is looking like it's directly from the Houston Field office, which I hope they should be able to fix in no time. What's the update, have you heard anything from the USCIS Houston office.
  5. You are going to be fine. Try to know the names of your State Senators and Reps. Goodluck.
  6. First of all - Congratulations on passing your interview! The possible reason behind you not getting "an approval" decision right away, would be because there is someone above your interviewer who would ultimately review the process before final approval. So, what's next? Your interviewer is going to recommend your application for approval and submit it for quality review (You won't know this) Once approved, you'll be placed in line for "Oath Ceremony" and later receive your Oath Ceremony date. All of these events can happen within the next 72 hrs. or more. Just keep your fingers crossed and expect only the best.
