I wish I could answer that lol. To me other centers are simply a joke besides SRC.

I secretly thought and hoped it was an approval as well....and it WAS! I was in disbelief when I saw the USPS tracking number, we were planning on late 2021 or early 2022 before we heard anything so such a quick turnaround seemed too good to be true. Thanks @wildling99 and @RambaCat for your replies - we received her new green card today along with a ton of USCIS notifications about Approval being issued! Best of luck to everyone - and December filers who haven't had any updates your time is coming!

Rec'd my biometrics waiver on 3/13, dated 3/8. I'm SRC.
Since they don't issue fee refunds for the $85 and USCIS is funded primarily from fees, maybe they'll be able to bring back more staff and get things moving after 2020 backlogs? Wishful thinking, I know!

Received our interview notice in the mail today! We are scheduled for February 13, 2019.
On March 19, we’ll have been married for two years. Is there ever an instance of them issuing a 10-year when it’s that close? I’m so flipping happy to have an interview date at last!

wildling99 got a reaction from Sherry/Robert in EAD extension requirements ?
Hi! I filed my extension in August. My card expired October 15. I included everything from the original package (essentially filled out all forms again and included passport photos). I also filed to renew my AP again, so I basically just resubmitted everything like I did the first time. I also included the sheet that came with my card - there's a tear-off on the bottom that says to attach for a renewal.
You don't need to send a fee when your AOS is pending. I am still waiting for my renewal and it's been 4.5 months, so I doubt you'll have it in January.
EAD's automatically extend for 180 days, regardless of the card's expiration date, so he should be fine until June.

wildling99 got a reaction from r_swift in Question - Canadian hoping to travel home for Christmas.
The last two times I have flown out of Pearson with my EAD/AP, they held me in secondary. No questions, nothing like that, but literally held me until my plane was DEPARTING in 5 minutes. I've gotten to the point where I just don't stress - let it happen. They'll let you out with a couple minutes to spare and Air Canada will force you to run to your gate. Air Canada's agent said it's a common practice just to hold people up until the last possible second. People were getting super mad at the CBP agents, who would just yell back at them, and then other people were angry with the airline agents. No one can help, so just sit there and let them take their time.
My bags had already been pulled from the flight in both instances, but just as a heads up. Deep breaths.

Looks like a good day for July filers all around! Congrats on positive news for so many people in our group!
I woke up to a text with an update - EAD card being produced. I hit snooze and a couple hours later, both AP and EAD were updated again to say case approved. YAY! As of yesterday, my SR had not been assigned, so this was an awesome surprise.
My file date was July 7, NOA July 12, Bio Aug 1, SR Oct 12.

wildling99 got a reaction from Anthony and Bobby in AOS June 2017 Filers!
Wow! Can't believe you got your EAD 36 days after your biometrics, that's awesome! - looks like we both did bios in Phoenix on the exact same day and I'm still waiting for my status to change on AP/EAD. Unfortunately, it means I missed a very important trip back home :((
Did your status for the EAD change online, or did it just show up in the mail? I've heard some people see it arrive in the mail before status has even been changed.
