Hello All,
On 06/08/2022 I received notice that my RoC was approved, very surprised I was not required to go for an interview as I was applying with a divorce waiver also, although I am definitely not complaining! I wish everyone still waiting a speedy approval

Then I'll tell you what's going to happen, they will issues RFE for the divorce decree and will give you 90 days to submit it (hopefully 120 days due to covid)
I751 divorce waiver is here lol (in the past)
A lot of good luck to you!!!! Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks for heads up, I doubt I will get the divorce decree within 90 days so we will see what happens then 😅

Did you include your divorce decree?
No, the divorce is not finalized yet, I included the paperwork which shows the divorce was filed. I also used a Lawyer for the first time so hopefully they know what they are doing 😅

hello,
does anyone have experience in using AP to travel abroad?
I am taking a trip to London next week with my combo EAD but I am nervous. Because on USCIS website , it said it depends on the border...
can anyone share your experience with AP traveling out of the US?
Thanks.
I traveled with AP last month, as soon as I got to the first US port of entry (Dallas, TX in my case) I handed him my passport and EAD card, he then did the basic taking fingerprints stuff and escorted me to the waiting room (secondary inspection) and they was looking over my passport and EAD card, I was waiting in there for around 20 minutes and it was packed full of other people. I then got called up to the counter, they handed my passport and EAD card and I was free to go.
It was all relatively painless and there was no problems with getting back in, obviously if you have a connecting flight make sure you have enough time to clear the secondary inspection because they can take as long as they want to check the documents.

I hope everyone is having a good journey so far!
It's been 293 days since getting NOA and waiting to hear back from the Santa Ana field office... I hope transferring it to the San Bernardino office won't delay things further.
Thankfully I got a good job and a few other co-workers are also going through or have been through the same process so it's good to hear how things went for them too.

My wife traveled from the US - UK and she said she wasn't able to bring her cat in the cabin, even though he was certified as a therapy cat, he had to go in the hold, although she did make sure she went with an airline with the lowest deaths for animals stored in the hold. (Simple Google search will show you the answers for that) she's not had any problems domestically in the U.S.

Not being able to work for 6 months was the worst thing for me, and it resulted in a LOT of arguments with my wife as she was working two - three contracting jobs to support us financially, I was depressed doing nothing and was not helping out around the house as I should have been with nothing to do and not being able to contribute financially... things got really bad so I decided to look into expediting my EAD and luckily I got it approved. She then rushed me into getting a different part-time job I was not happy with, and I didn't last there too long as a result. Once we sat down and agreed to communicate properly before we had an argument with one another things got better, and once I got a job in my profession things have drastically improved and it's great that I can provide financially and get health benefits for the both of us.

I had a phone interview recently and I explained I have a valid I-765 EAD which expires late next year, I also explained I am adjusting status and waiting for my GC interview. Now I don't really understand what could have confused them but they are now asking what visa I am on? My wife is saying I need to tell them I am on the K1 visa but that has expired and we are married now anyway so that will cause more confusion I think, so I am thinking I should tell them I am on the I-485 visa and have the EAD until I get the green card?
I can't see what the problem is as I told the recruiter I don't require any sponsorship from them, and when I have explained this to my previous employer they understood perfectly fine.
Any advice from anyone who has had to explain things more clearly, as I am not really sure how to explain this....

USPS says my EAD will be delivered tomorrow, does someone have to sign for it, or will they just leave it in the mail box?

What a mess. Makes sense though... thanks!
They automatically renew the EAD for 180 days if you meet the criteria, but no idea if they only do this once or every time it gets near expiring.

Finally I got some good news regarding my EAD this morning.

@eckoin it didn’t have any issues while faxing and I did have an Okay confirmation.. so I hope it went through and they received it... I’m just hoping to receive a response for the next few days.
How did you get an acknowledgment? Is it through an email or an update on your case?
I got an email with the following message once they had seen my fax...
We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly. -

How did you submit the evidence? Did you mail it all in?
I called USCIS a day after you and opened an expedite request, and I'm still waiting on the letter asking for more evidence.
I faxed the evidence over to them... here is the timeline you asked for.
08/27/2018 - I called USCIS to expedite the EAD and spoke to the T1
08/29/2018 - I got an email from USCIS asking me to submit additional evidence via fax
08/30/2018 - I sent them the fax and it went through with no issues
04/09/2018 - I got acknowledgement they received my submitted evidence via fax and were reviewing the case
I haven't received any letters from USCIS about expediting the EAD everything has been through emails so far.

Hey @DBR I went through your timeline and I noticed that your pd was somewhere around 6th of June 2018 . What intrigues me is that you were just about 12 days into the process before you expedited your ead . Can you share your timeline for your expedite process?
My bad, I somehow messed the date up and I submitted the EAD on 08/27/2018

I expedited on 06/18/2018 and this morning I got the email saying they was reviewing the evidence I submitted. How long do they generally take before making the decision as it just says "You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly"?

I never got the letter. Just an email. Some get emails some letters. If u won't get any of it for 5 business days you can call them back and tell them to read it for you as u didn't get anything
Well i hope they got my email right as it took a while for them to understand it... how many days did you wait for the email?
-
I just submitted my expedite and the guy on the phone said I should receive a letter in 5 days from them on what to do next. Is that still accurate or has the wait time gone up recently?
-
You should just go down there and tell them (reception) you need the medical records sooner rather than later, they was able to print mine out on the spot.
-
-
I had to wait around a month between scheduling my medical and actually getting it done and dusted. It sucked because the embassy had a lot of free interview slots in-between the time I was waiting.

Do you know if it's faster to have the documents delivered to your address or to a local depot?
I can't say for sure but I don't think it's going to make much of a difference, the embassy emailed me early afternoon telling me they released the visa to the courier, and the next day I received it in the post, then again I am in Greater London so it's not too far from their depot, might take an extra day or two if you're over the other side of the country.
