You don’t need to understand or make excuses for him. Love is not so ambiguous that  you can’t see or feel it. I know it hurts right now and you feel disappointed but understand this is something that you tried your best but just didn’t work out. Move on with your life and get past these feelings of remorse so that you can clear your head and find the real happiness that is destined for you. But it won’t happen if you don’t help yourself or if you persecute yourself for trying and not finding true love in this experience. You have your whole life ahead of you and you’re still young. Just follow your instinct, get away and be safe. You owe him nothing but you have a duty to yourself to be safe and open your heart to find true happiness. If you feel compelled to stay then seek counseling together and if he is not willing then there is your answer. Yes it hurts and it’s unfortunate, but life has so much more in stored for you but you need be open for it. Good luck and God bless and please be safe.

Mark_712 got a reaction from Greenbaum in Interview Instructions Letter *poof* gone
we have our interview on april 5th and his site has helped us  immeasurably!   we actually got our medical CFO and everything before we got any confirmation letter after it said ready at NVC.  ironically today I got the confirmation email on what steps to take to schedule interview and the approval however we’ve gotten everything completed and already scheduled the interview and we would’ve lost a month and we waited for that. I will definitely report back here and how her interview went but thanks to this form we are confident and prepared for everything that we have completed in order to get to the stage. I really feel like this site is underserved and underappreciated  but to those who are aware of it it’s clearly seen how appreciative and thankful everyone is to have a site full of helpful people looking to give advice better than any lawyer can from what my experience has been. I think everyone should be aware of the site to help them navigate through this unbelievably complicated confusing yet attainable journey.

Then I recommend that you not call for a couple of days (I recommend waiting about 10 business days, including holidays) and call again. This going to be a journey of patience. The one who has the most patience is the one who will enjoy the journey. Just saying.

Please stay strong!  This will end someday.  I know how terrible this wait is.  I still pray for you everyday.  Please do not give the ba$tards the satisfaction of ruining another relationship.

yes my was redirected to California - my journey started 8/1/17 and finally the  interview is april 5th. With the way immigration is being treated currently in the US it seems like there has been longer delays in processing times so chances are they’re using a lot of the resources for cleaning up existing immigration files here in the US and perhaps that’s why it’s taking longer although I’m speculating but be prepared for anywhere between six months to nine months

    Hi!

First of all congrats on your engagement!

I-129f k1 petition denials are really rare in cases where you meet all the requirements. You can find DIY helps everywhere in this forum and there is a guide, you should go through it. It really helps. Lawyers, I didn't see much good coming from them in my 5 months in this site, unless you have a complicated case with criminal background etc.. Rapid visa is good as far as I know, but they also sometimes mess it up and don't take responsibility as they are not a legal service. If you are not sure that you can put your package together they may be good help.
However, you can also ask any question in this website.

For your income, for example, that will only come to the scene at the interview stage. And the amount they ask is before taxes (so it is your gross income). They won't go deeper than that. Don't worry

Everyone here gets worried at one time or another. And that is why we are here helping each other.

I would read around the forum to see. But don't only read bad examples. Because most posts would be about bad examples. As people tend to create a post when they are worried and a problem occurs. Good examples just go through with their case and ends in happy so no one posts separately.
You can read through monthly forums, and you will see more good cases that just started and ended smoothly.

    Good luck

if you read what falls under the “waiver requirements” only certain crimes fall under that such as restraining orders, certain criminal assaults on minors and spousal abuse, drug offenses. I would research more online there are other websites that give advice about what to do when you have that. They also consider the amount of time that has passed since the convictions or offenses.  I would recommend that you get at least three character reference letters that are notarized from friends and/or  colleagues, even a church or someone with authority like lawyers and ministers if they apply to you to also support your K-1 visa and they could stay things about who you are.

You don't indicate in your profile what country. What country are you asking about? Some do and some don't. I might have more definitive answer once I know your Embassy. Many of you have not visited your Embassy web page where a lot of your questions can be answered. Also, you may want to look here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/ for the answer to your question. Good luck.

I  have seen that electronic copies have been accepted. Also  would try to have an employment letter that’s no older then 60days if you can help it.  Additionally you can also send your fiancé some electronic copies of your more current paystub‘s that she way she has the most recent pay dates that will substantiate your employment letter claim if you can’t get an updated letter. I would do a search for that I -134 form here as  it seems that it’s country specific on what they will and will not accept for signatures on the I134 form and some have said that they required bank statements others have said that they did not so I would just use the caution of better to have it and not need it then rather need it and not have it mentality. I sent a three day delivery packet via usps packet from Boston to Manila and it cost me $63 with about six pages of documents inside so for me that was money well spent on making sure that they had wet signatures updated intend to marry letter and original copies of my W-2s as well as the original wet signature of the financial form. you can also email the embassy and ask or read that particular embassy reviews to get actual real experience reports.  in Manila it seems majority times they don’t even ask for the financial forms but I’ve read review or two that actually mentioned that they did ask for so again it’s really subjective and the role of them better to have it and be prepared as my advice good luck and I hope you find your answers.

Hello Folks,   My K 1   application was received at dallas lock box today.  I have been reading about time to approval.  Looks like 6 months if I am lucky.  I wonder if the approval process could be any shorter than that.
I assume the application goes to the TSC but I dont know that for sure. Some service centers  appear to have shorter turn around time. Any ideas if things move faster in 2018?

The time to approval is very fluid and unpredictable.  Could be shorter, could go longer.  Your petition was sent to the lockbox in Dallas but will likely get assigned to California

Thank you very much. I really wish this will be over soon. LOL. I started writing a blog for the process here in Qatar. Coz there are a lot of posts in the Philippines and in other countries, but I haven't found one for Qatar. Who knows, maybe in the future people can use my experience to guide them through the K1 process.  Anyway, thanks again.
