  1. Hey Everyone!

Going to go through my medical folder tomorrow (Medical is on Tuesday) at knightsbridge doctors, London.

Can anyone give me a list of everything they took with them? I know I've got the email regarding what to bring, but just

want to double check that I have the correct things and see if there is anything extra that is needed for the day.

I also wanted to ask.. for the embassy meeting, do I need to provide information for how much money I have? Not 100% sure.

    Please help.

    Thank you!

I think you should be fine with ten days

If you don't have to pick up the results yourself like here, to take them to the Embassy, them worst case scenario is they put you briefly on administrative processing until they get them, but very unlikely.

I'm in an emotional rollercoaster, hoping for things to move swiftly and conveniently for me, dreading that's not the case. So I'm like "I can make it", next second "l can't make it". Oh  well, it will happen anyway :)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, so it should be okay.

Ah it will soon come round! I can't believe everything has come round this quick so i'm sure you won't be far behind considering our dates for everything have nearly been so exact! :)

When you booked your interview, did you get to choose the date at the embassy? and what did you put for you're date of wedding? I heard this can affect when you have the interview.

Yeah I got to book the date of the embassy, there were quite a few days available if I remember right. I think it's more like an estimation, as most people don't know when they'll get married, us for one, so we just put the beginning of november for a rough estimate. I don't think it'll be a problem.

I'm going to say congrats, because sure it has to feel good to finally have dates ;)

Ahh! It really does feel good! especially how everything is in the one month! I'm hoping i've chosen a good amount of space between the medical and meeting! got my fingers crossed, think I allowed like 7 working days and 10 actual days, on the embassy website I was told to wait 5 working days, so i'm hoping it'll be more then enough, how is everything going with you?

Yep, once it's 'ready' and you've booked your medical you can continue by submitting the readiness form and then booking your interview!

Can I ask what dates were available still when you called? I really wanted to get my medical done on the 21/22 if I can. Are they quite flexible or do they give you strict appointment dates to choose from?

I'm not entirely sure haha, I asked what was the first one available and the women on the phoned said two weeks time which is the 19th. Hopefully they'll still be available! when are you going to book it?

We, however, were approved before the estimated timelines. NOA2 comes in the mail today and our approval is dated August 10th, so 121 days since NOA1, 126 since received date.

Since it's a Monday, Gary telecommutes today, so I'll tell him to keep an eye on the postman when he wakes up :)

CONGRATULATIONS! my timeline date changed backwards one day yesterday the same as yours, so 14th. Trevor doesn't get home until another half an hour or more so i'm hoping there is good news for us too! I'm really happy for you! xx

I'm just in so much need of a rant... I am so miserable of my life feeling like it's on old waiting for the noa2. I need to move home but it seems silly doing that when all the terms are for 6 months & hopefully I'll be gone by then. I'm living with my mother who's an alcoholic, financially everyone around me is draining me & emotionally too. I just wanna be able to be off work & feel at peace in my own home, I want all the stress of I wonder how long it's gonna be until move date to be over because I get so anxious that'll be denied & then I don't know what the plan will be.

Definitely sucks to hear your having a rubbish time at the moment, hopefully being on the forum cheers you up a bit as we are all in the same kinda spot.

Waiting for the NOA2 is definitely the most frustrating and emotional stage. Looking at your visa timeline, it doesn't look like it'll be long until you hear some kind of news! I'm a little after you so fingers crossed for us both ay. Really doubt you'll get denied, if anything you'd get a refusal which allows you to amend whatever they need. Just chin up, because tomorrow is a new week and it could bring some good news. :) Here if you want to chat, I get ya x

Yep, I've started doing that too! My baby is arriving in the U.K. tomorrow a I'm kinda debating giving him a suitcase of some of my stuff to take back to the US with him. Originally was thinking all my winter clothes beacause "surely" I won't be needing them here this winter.. but with the delay with the visa not so sure anymore lol xx

Ooh! Bit exciting for you then! Hope you spend some good quality time together! xx

  9. Anyone else have a splurge of sorting out their clothes at the moment and decide what your going to be taking with you when you move.. or is that just me? lol.. literally sorting through one draw at a time, one draw last weekend and one draw this weekend, drag it out a bit lol.

Only just realised how many clothes I have.. quite worrying lol. Not even started on shoes yet oh jeez haha.

Making me far to excited to be moving. :)

Happy Sunday all! what's everyone up to? x
