Update
On 9/24/21 only the N400 interview was scheduled but it ended up being a combo interview because the I 751 case was still pending. The IO was very nice she waited for me because I dropped my husband off and was waiting near by. First the IO interviewed both of us then we were separated. Husband was interviewed first then it was me for the I 751 case. After my interview the IO said we will be notified by mail for the decision and will interview my husband for the N 400 case. After his interview he received a paper that he passed the civic and read/write rest and I 751 case decision pending. Today I received a text notification about decision on I 751 case, when I checked IT IS APPROVED and approval notice sent. OMG the excitement on my face 😀. Oath ceremony scheduled for 10/25/21 best birthday gift ever 💃💃. Finally this process is coming to an end. Thank you to visa journey family we would not have done it without you all. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.
Congratulations sis.
That long journey is about to end 😂😂✌️✌️✌️

Hi guys!
I just woke up to a text message from the USCIS saying action was taken. I got my interview scheduled for 11/24! Does anyone know if you can bring your spouse with you to the interview?
Thanks!
If it’s a combo interview, you will need to come with your spouse

Biometric Notification Received: 09/09/2021
Biometric Appointment: 09/30/2021
Does anybody knows if you can change the Application support center for my biometric appointment, USCIS scheduled this appointment an hour away driving on a work day. I did my Biometric submission for the green card in other support center nearby...
thanks in advice.
Go and try in the closest centre to you before your scheduled date

Los Angeles. I'm VERY surprised as well. I was expecting minimum 6 months wait for the interview to be scheduled. Guess I should study for the civics test soon haha.
Lately LA has been moving really fast

There is a requirement, you can book an appointment 2 weeks prior to your travel and must be traveling within 72 hours on your appointment date, besides that I called the number and waited a bit over 3 hours
What number did you call and how did you pay?

Thank you, there is no tip really, I just literally called their number, waited a bit over 3 hours, it was on August 5th, and they booked an appointment for me on the 17th, there's a requirement, you can book an appointment 2 weeks prior to your travel, but must be traveling within 72 hours on your appointment date, so I'm driving to Toronto with my kids to see my friends that I haven't seen since the border shut down
Did they ask you for travel tickets? How did you book the appointment online and what number did you call?

Oh God! What a beautiful day! I even don't know where do I start lol
I was scheduled for my interview at 830, so came in at 815, at 825 was called by the officer, the officer was extremely nice, asked me 6 questions, then asked me to read "where is the white house" and to write the white house is in Washington DC. Then went over my n400, at 835 he told me congratulations, please wait in the waiting room, at 9 exactly my name was called by another officer who was holding my naturalization certificate in his hand, so he took me into a room and read the oath, I repeated after him the full oath, then he gave me my certificate, said congratulations and took me outside, I left the building at 9 10, then I ran to DMV and upgraded my real ID driver's license to enhanced driver's license for US citizens only (I maid an appointment for it online a week ago) then I ran to the passport agency and apply for a first time passport, it will be ready in 15 minutes, (made an appointment by phone by waiting over 3 hours on the line 2 weeks ago)
So this is pretty much it
Guys! I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that all of you will get your certificates soon! I wish luck to each of you! Please text me or call me at any time if you have any questions, I'm always here to help as much as I can!!!
Savva
Congratulations bro.
The N400 is one of the easiest part of this whole process

Hello everyone, something strange happened to my wife's status. She had her N-400 interview a couple of days ago, she passed the test, and the officer told her to wait her mail notification for the ceremony. We just got an update on her removal of condition I-751 today. It says the case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction. What seems weird is the officer did not ask about her I-751 case, did not even mentioned it, she just went ahead with the naturalization test and interview. As far as i know they can not adjudicate naturalization before closing the removal of conditions on her residence. Did somebody go through the same experience?
The i751 has to be concluded first before citizenship. What that means is that she will still attend or get a waived interview for the ROC before she can be sworn in as a USC.
the transfer is not a problem and it’s a normal thing

Hello everyone! I will be eligible to file for N400 in the next couple weeks, super excited. I am married to a US citizen and I changed my last name after we got married. However, I kinda regret having a different last name at this point and am planning to apply for citizenship using my maiden name. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you so much in advance.
Yes it is possible

Anyone who recently attended their N400 interviews at the SB field office? How long did it take you to get interview dates after biometrics and was the interview and oath done same day?
TIA

On your receipt letter does it says if everything checks out we will schedule interview? I was wondering the same thing if they reuse my biometric again from 2018. I did apply N.400 on 21 June by the 3 years rule. I didn't get biometric appointment. Thanks

I'll tell exactly what it was lol, yesterday when you've done with your biometrics your status changed from biometrics scheduled to we are actually reviewing your case, so I understood that USCIS website (the one we have our accounts on) send a notification next day, so your today's notification was about we are actively reviewing your case
Hahahaha.. was thinking it was the Interview Schedule notice though 😂😂😂

Got an email from USCIS like one hour ago saying an action has been taken on my case and that I should log in.
I login in and didn’t find anything in there. Has anyone experienced such before?

so you just walked in?
I know the notice says only show up on the date of your appt
I presume this varies from city to city as to whether you can walk in?
Yes. I showed up with my bio appt letter and my expired GC was requested for. Thank God I went with it
