All the answers above are great. We sent in about 40 pics, just because we don't have an abundance of evidence (we live rent free in one of my dad's properties, haven't been able to take any trips since AOS...)
I would highly recommend not using USPS. Just with the back log, I would say use UPS for peace of mind

If your green card expires, its not that big of a deal...unless you need to travel or have to find a new job. My husbands gc expired Dec 21st, and we didn't get the extension letter until January 25th. He couldn't drive because his DL expiration is tied to the green card, so that was the biggest frustration. You're still a legal resident, so don't freak out about that.

I met my now husband when we were both living in Mexico. My Dad ended up retiring there as well, which left his home in the US unoccupied. We have been living there, rent free, since Sept 2017. For the AOS and the ROC, my dad wrote a letter that I included with the packet stating we are allowed to stay at his property, rent free, for as long as we want. He is also the cosponsor, so they have his financial details.
We didn't have a whole lot of evidence either, but it is what it is. We sent 2018 & 2019 joint tax transcripts, recent bank joint bank statement, recent joint credit card statement, 2018 & 2019 & 2020 joint health insurance through Marketplace, current joint insurance through my employer, Car insurance listing both of our names, Cell phone account with both of our numbers, joint zoo membership, four sworn letters from our friends and loads of pics from AOS to ROC submission.

If you want to call, it's 800-375-5283 and say Technical Support then Technical Problem when asked

Elegibility is next November 2021 and we will file for N-400, even if ROC is not done. Luckily our app is at SRC so pretty quick processing according to VJ timeline stats.
Where are the VJ timeline stats? I'd love to see them myself

Did anyone get TWO NOAs? I got 2 exactly the same NOAs from Potomac center in December and Jan. Shows how mismanaged things in USCIS probably are!
Do you want to really know how mismanaged USCIS is.????.... My husband received his extension letter on Monday YAY. then on Wednesday there was a packet from USCIS addressed to him to our home. Inside was ANOTHER COUPLES PHOTO ALBUM. #######!!! Right away he started contacting USCIS as it was his day off. He could not get a person on the line. I posted this in a FB group and the moderator actually found one of the petitioners as she had a picture of her drivers license in the album. I tracked her down and we exchanged phone numbers. She wants me to mail her photos to her, but I won't until USCIS clarifies what the hell went wrong, and if someone else received an error of ours. I called them this morning, but they refused to talk to me as supposedly only the immigrant petitioner can OR they give verbal authority when you (USC) are on the line as well. He doesn't have another day off until Monday. What an absolute show.

I send my package off October 23rd, but they sent it back because I had 2 pages missing and forgot to fill out part 4 🤦🏻♀️
second time it’s recieved 12/27. Haven’t heard anything yet. My GC expired 01/22 😕
It's ok if your GC expires, unless it's tied to your State ID or Driver's License OR you need a new job. My husbands expired Dec 21st, and her just got his extension letter on Monday. It looks like checks/credit cards are clearing from those send in up to mid December.

I'm still in the time line for my noa1 right?
Recieved 26th December.
I'm just checking as I was going to call now it has been 4 weeks but I've heard its taking longer than 4 weeks. And im a worrier. 🙃
it is taking 6-8 weeks currently with some people in October and November still waiting. Don't worry, it's our of our hands for the time being

USCIS did a big boo boo and sent back someone's photo album to my husband. (his name and address and someone else's photo evidence) I don't have the time to sit through pages on this thread....can someone post the USCIS phone number and the promps to get a human on the phone. I found the lady who's packet it came from, and we have been chatting, but I want to ensure that my husband case file is in no way attached to this error.

Mailed i-751 package on 12/16/2020. via FedEx.
Package received at Phoenix, Az lockbox (and signed for) on 12/17.
Called USCIS for follow up on 1/7/2021. They hadn't input my case in the system yet. Requested a follow-up call for an appointment with field office.
Received a call back from USCIS yesterday (1/25/2021) saying they have input my case and gave me my receipt number. Agent said my NOA had been mailed on 1/22/2021 and I should receive it within 14 days. Agent did not give me an InfoPass appointment (he said due to lack of availability at COVID field office due to COVID).
My check has not been cashed yet and I got no email/text notification (even after submitting the relevant form requesting those).
Guys, this process is so inconsistent 😕
Your dates were well within their updated processing times. It's taking 6-8 weeks (and longer as per the November ROC group) to get the NOA 1/extension letter. But our letter was mailed out 4 days before the check cleared, so that was a bit bazaar. It seems those getting the email/test notification are getting them a week or two after the letter in the mail.

I always think it is best to follow the instructions on the forms. Congrats on getting through. Most people are issued an RFE.

Well, many in the groups on this site only submitted from AOS interview to ROC and got approved. I'd be happy to dump all the ####### from the wedding to the AOS interview, but that seems stupid since its all in my file (which we saw at the interview). Bring on the time suck RFE if need be, I have two extra full copies on stand-by of the K1 and AOS packets they can have. 🤷♀️

Remember - you need to be sending in evidence FROM THE TIME YOU WERE MARRIED! I know there will be some duplication, since your profile says you were AOS, but do have evidence from your marriage until the present day. You have all the right stuff in your list - but you might need to go back more than just two years.
Best of luck!

HUH!!! I only sent things from from after our AOS interview. I didn't even sent a marriage certificate as it wasn't on the USCIS list of items.

Thanks Tab.
I think you misread my dates. Her GC expired on 10/25/20. I mailed it on 12/9/20. So I'm about over a month late. I've read in many places that if you can provide a good reason they will still go ahead and proceed with the application. So I'm hoping this is the case with me.
YUP! I totally misread what you wrote. oooops sorry

Good morning VJ'ers.
I just got my NOA.
I mailed mine on Dec 9th and received on Dec 15th.
Cash was checked on Friday Jan 22nd.
Got NOA through mail yesterday (1/25).
Being handled by Potomac Service Center.
So for any of you who sent your package around that date, keep your eyes open. NOA should be coming at any moment.
I should also mention, we filed late! My wife's Green Card expired on 10/25/20. But I sent a letter explaining the reasons (Covid, wife is pregnant, my job, etc...). The NOA says they extended my wife's Residency for 18 months and we just have to wait now. So all seems good as of now. (Fingers crossed)
Technically you didn't file late. You have up to the day the green card expires to have the packet postmarked. My husbands green card expired Dec 21st, and we mailed our joint petition on Dec 13th. We have no reason as to why we didn't file as soon as the window opened, but it shouldn't matter anyways. As long as it gets there before expiration. I was stressed enough because he didn't help much putting it together, yet it's his status that was in jeopardy.

My husband received the extension letter in the mail today, which is odd as it was mailed before the check was cashed. I checked last night before going to bed, and the check still hadn't cleared. It did clear after 1pm today
Timeline...
ROC mailed UPS... Dec 13th
Lockbox received it... Dec 16th
Extension letter sent... Jan 21st
Extension letter received... Jan 25th (Nebraska)
Check cashed... Jan 25th

Do you guys need to send also affidavit sworn to or affirmed by at least two people even if we are filing a joint petition?
Thank you
We did; sent 4 letters in. One from my sister, two from my best friends who have met and spend alot of time with Tony with their husbands, and a neighbor that Tony became friends with. We don't own a home (my dad lets us live in one of his properties rent free) and because of finances, we have yet to take any vacation together. We felt it important for our case to send these additional documents to support our relationship

What status did you arrive on? Seems many (maybe most) that were K1 and went through AOS have the Biometircs waived, and often times the interview as well. Maybe give a call to USCIS.
-
Wow! This is the first time anyone has ever posted that one can't work on an expired gc. You are absolutely free to believe and proceed how you feel comfortable, but there are hundreds (maybe even more) that are currently working on an expired gc because USCIS is really backed up. "We" have up through the day of the expiration date is said gc to have the ROC delivered, maybe even just postmarked.
My husbands gc expired Dec 21st and we still don't have the extension letter. His work would never let him stay employed with paid or unpaid time off for something completely out of our control.
Let us know what the tier 2 says, or even better, call again Monday and ask another tier two and see what answer you get.

Is there any December filer who sent a money order that's been enchased this week?
Of the few cases we see here, most are paid with credit cards only.
I paid by personal check. I am seeing alot of both, but nothing specifically about money order. Can you track them?

Perhaps they are charging you for the re-processing....which might require some effort on their part.
if they wave the Biometrics there is no processing per se. They are using the picture and finger prints from the previous appt. It's just another way to collect money. They have us by the (you know what), so we have to what they want.

The biometrics were waived, yet we were charged to do biometrics?
Good point! That's a bit of a BS move to be honest. Biometrics should maybe be paid once the appointment is made

Interesting. At my husbands AOS interview, our officer went through the new pictures and took out a few and gave back the rest. On this ROC, we Included 20 pics (with names and locations) through word doc, and will bring the real pics if an interview is needed. Our "evidence" as I mentioned is light, so pictures going places and meeting with friends is good to include
