My husband is also from Brazil, and he had his combo interview for I-751 and N-400 a few weeks ago at the Atlanta USCIS field office.  Given everything you have shared, I do not think that hiring an attorney for the interview is necessary, unless you are a worrier and having a legal representative at the interview would increase your peace of mind.  The evidence of your marital relationship sounds very solid.  They will likely invite both of you into the interview room for the I-751 and may ask both of you questions.  My husband and I were asked a few questions about how we met and who proposed, why we sold our house in California (seemed obvious, we moved to Georgia for work), and if we had any new financial co-mingling evidence since filing the original I-751 two years before (we gave the officer IRS tax return transcripts for 2021 and 2022 and quarterly joint bank account statements for the last two years).  We had two very thick file folders with much more financial evidence but were not asked to provide more.  Our age gap is 27 years, so much more than your 8.  The officer then asked for photos which we gave him.  He flipped through the photos and then said the I-751 was approved and asked me to leave.  He then conducted the naturalization interview with my husband by reviewing all of the N-400 form questions, did the English test (reading: Who can vote?  writing: All citizens can vote.), and asked six of the 100 history/civics questions, all answered correctly (he had studied them every evening for three months) and the interview was over.  His oath ceremony was a few weeks later and he's now waiting for his US passport to be processed and delivered.  If you are well prepared you have nothing to worry about.  Good luck with the interview!

How was your interview at the Atlanta office? I have mines tomorrow.

Do you submitted your final divorced dissolution and explain everything that happened between you and your EX on note for them to read ? Do you filed for divorced waiver ?

I did send in the divorce dissolution and explained everything that happened. I'm just confused that they're asking for things again I already sent in. I sent the divorce decree as well.

  3. I received a Request for Evidence in the mail today and don't know the first thing to do. My ex husband remarried and I feel lost.  Can anyone tell me what this means or to do. I submit everything I had already. My ex husband and I never had an account together or anything in our names other than life insurance and  credit card.  Also wedding pictures and plane tickets to see each other on a regular basis.

  4. Hi everyone, I received this in the mail today and don't know what to do. I sent in what I had in June 2020 and they are still requesting them again. My husband left me and remarried. We never had an account together and I was never on the lease. We did have a life insurance, credit card with both our names, wedding pictures, other family pictures with his family and plane tickets to see each other and that's it. What should I do. Someone please help.Screenshot_20220717-192705_WhatsApp.thumb.jpg.691efc948355f09fa995431ae2d80696.jpg

Does anyone have an MSC case who has received their GC? I applied June 2020, got biometrics Aug 2021 and it’s been stuck on “awaiting interview to be scheduled” since then. Can’t find a processing time for MSC either. And I’m not applying for citizenship so just wondered if anyone else has any updates on this? Thanks!

My case is MSC. My priority date is June 1st 2020. June 2021 I received a notification that I was ready to be scheduled for an interview and it's still at that. I had to go in for a second extension stamp in my passport.

    Hello all,

Did anyone receive their revised i751 extension (from 18 to 24 months) letter for pending petitions filed before September 2021? Our extension letter will be expiring in Jan 2022, so not sure if we should just wait for USCIS to send the revised letter, or contact someone.

Our fingerprints were taken in July and we are still waiting for USCIS to schedule the interview.

    thanks

I am waiting also. My extension letter expires Jan 5th. I did my biometrics from Dec 2020. Received a notification back in June 2021 that my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview. And nothing since then.

    (c)(9)( )

Some more advice: For I-131 dates not needed. Put "TBD" for the Date of the trip; and "As needed" for the purpose of the trips.

You might need to handwrite "TBD" in that field if the PDF editor doesn't let you.

And select the box for Multiple trips.

Also, do we send it 3 different set of passport photos for each form? I485, I131 and I765. Or so we just sens in one set which is for the 485?
