I'm kind of confused right now.. I called the USCIS number, got connected to one of those robots you can talk to, and got connected to the "USCIS Contact Center" immediately. The lady was not helpful there at all, said I should email the lockbox (which I did) and await reply. She was not able to connect me to a tier 2 officer regarding this.. Has anyone else had this???

What number did you use? I was trying to get through and speak with a representative for the past 3 hours, but the robot keeps talking.

Right? It's gonna work out. Good luck to us all!

I was already here and did the biometrics for AOS (I believe everyone has to do it). I think they are using the previous biometrics information,  since the offices are closed due to COVID-19. Not super sure though. You are still required to pay for the $85 fee though, unfortunately.

They charged my card $765, is that a normal fee?

We received a letter in the mail yesterday from USCIS. It was the notice to tell us that we do not have to do biometrics as they are using the previous fingerprints. We already knew this because of a text received a few days prior to the letter. So, we still wait for the official extension letter. Is anyone else here waiting for this in order to renew their driver’s license?

Waiting on my letter to renew my driver's license as well.

Finally, Glory to God. My NOA arrived in the mail. Filed 05/05/20. Recieved 05/08/20.

After 3 request sent via email and receiving a date to expect my NOA on or before 07/05/20. Well it came in today. 06/25/20. Extended for 18 months. Thats till March 2022 from. The date current GC expires. Now hoping they won't require me going in for the biometrics. Keep y'all updated. Good luck guys. *phase1completed* *ontothenext1*

What email address did you send your emails to?

  5. Hi all,

I am so lost right now since my green card is about to expire in July and I don't know what to do. My husband has left me and my kids and moved on with another family. He applied for me and them to move here in 2018. I left my job in my country that I had for 9 years to start our future. When we arrived, he still did not have the apartment straight so he encourage me to go live with a family member in Ohio and put the girls in school there and he will come and move if things don't work out for him in Florida. Weeks went by and he never reached. So I flew back to Florida to him for a few days to see what was the hold up. He told me that he did not inform is boss that he would be moving and he did not want to leave his job. So I encourage him to get an apartment and the girls and I would come back down to Florida, so I return to Ohio. We flew to Florida to spend the Christmas together and whiles there, that was when I found out he had another woman and why he never wanted to leave Florida. He admitted on cheating with the other woman. I encourage him to go to counseling and he did not agree, so I return back to Ohio. Three months later he sent me a text that he his filing for divorce because it's time for him to move on. Why would he file for me and the kids to live here if he wanted to be with someone else. My question is what do I do now? The divorce is finalized and he married and move on! Where do I even start?

  6. Hello,

Can anyone provide me with a number to contact USCIS to know what address they have on file and to get the tracking number for my green card. I updated them with a change of address online last week but they still ended up sending the SSN to the old address and we went through hell to get it. Can anyone say if they think they already sent out the green card. I need it to be sent to my new address. I entered July 5th, 2018. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  7. I will be entering the US in a couple of days with my packet, but only for a few days to carry our first set of belongings then returning back to our home country to continue with giving up apartment, closing accounts etc. When I'm returning back to the US, I won't have the green card yet, but have the stamp in my passport. The question is will they give me a hard time entering the US? Will they let me through with the stamp? Any answer would be helpful. Thanks
