Yes, VJ2 became my new Facebook go to site.  Our NOA1 was in April 2017 with VSC.  I had hoped to see our approval back in March of this year, based on other approvals I saw here at the 11 month wait point for VSC.  Called a Tier 2 Officer this week, and we received our approval text message this morning.  We waited 491 days since NOA1 for approval.  (Nothing out of the ordinary, i.e.., no RFE.  But, of the three family applicants, one did have to redo the biometrics appointment this past May.). Good luck to you!  Now onto the N400.

AlluringSoul, THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH.  I called the number that you provided to reach a Tier 2 Officer.  We had to try calling over two days.  The initial agent to answer on the first day listened to our story.  He took five minutes to do some research.  He came back on the phone and said that something was not right.  I inferred that our case had been placed in storage.  He said that he would pass us to a Tier 2 officer.  On being connected, a recording came on saying that we would be called back in one 60 minutes.  From what I can tell from my home phone, we received three calls from a  "800 Service" that were all blocked as Spam by our call blocker.   (Unbelievable, huh1?).  I called back again yesterday, got passed along to a Tier 2, and the same thing happened with blocked calls to my cell phone.  This morning I woke up with a text message from USCIS saying action had been taken on our case and to log into our account.  This is the message that we received.  Thank you again for your invaluable help.   And, thank you VisaJourney for providing us with support since last April 2017.  AlluringSoul thank you again.  You truly helped us to nudge our case approval to come through!!!!  Now onto the citizen application.  Respectfully...

Alluring Soul, thank you VERY much for your assistance.  We did get through; a very polite and patient agent took down all of our information.  We will get a call back from a Tier 2 Officer in about an hour... 

My card is coming tomorrow according to usps....finally after 18 months!! Congrats to everyone else that has been approved. And to those still waiting  ,your time will come soon 😉

My wife passed her naturalization interview. She answered the 6 civics questions correctly and passed the English reading/speaking/writing test too. Prior to the tests, I sat with her as the IO went through the i751 application. Everything checked out and he said he was approving that, too. Nice to be done with both. Sounds like she'll receive the 10 yr green card before the next available oath ceremony in late September. Nice to be done with both applications. Now just to wait around for the card and ceremony.

The exact same thing happened to us, except I saw last week the card was produced. I was actually worried when I got this email today that something had changed, but logging in again showed as of August 3rd card has been mailed. So hopefully we see the card soon! We got transferred to VSC a couple weeks ago.

Follow up on my case! 
I receive the approval letter today and my 10 yrs Greencard today too.

Got my card in the mail today! Looks different from the old one! And thankfully all info on it’s correct. Thank you all for everything! I’m gonna wait for a bit till we move into our new home and then apply for naturalization!

Someone was told that Received at Local Office simply means that your records were removed from long storage and delivered to your Case Officer for action.  The VSC is your local office.  So, your records were removed from storage, delivered to your Case Officer, who the generated the RFE.  (just one of many possible explanations).  Good luck.

Ours as well, I came here together with my 3 children. We’re so blessed all of us approved and interview was waived since CR. The only thing bothered me is my oldest son 19yo his new gc is still on producing picture capturing incomplete as what the USCIS officer told me when we went for infopass😔 so that’s the only gc we’re waiting then I can apply N400.

Hi all we just checked the status today and it changed over the weekend to card is being produced. We are so happy and relieved ...we VSC filers NOA1 4/7/17. Good luck to everyone getting their approvals.

On uscis check case status:
  On April 3, 2018, your inquiry about a notice that you did not receive, referral number xxxx, was assigned to an officer for response.
 
Got an email also on shows on the check status site but not on  myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
 
On April 10, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address. 

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

I have received these too.  I am an early July filer.  My guess is, each time they send you an update on your file they update the date, when in fact nothing has really been done to your file.  I could be wrong though as to understand USCIS is like trying to understand quantum physics.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to share with you all, that today i got the approval email in the morning. I aplied march 31-2017. Noa 04-17, finger prints april 28. VSC FILER,  local office newark, New Jersey.
