My wife got her green card in the mail today!  Thanks to everyone who keeps their timeline updated and for the admins and contributors to this site.  VJ has been an invaluable resource for both ensuring we avoided pitfalls and errors and keeping us sane by providing accurate statistics on the process.  Thanks, everyone!

It took a month for us! Our case left the NVC on 12-12-2016, the consulate did not acknowledge they had it until 1-10-2017. Truth be told, there are the Xmas and New Years Holidays in there, so that likely delayed it some. That being said, DHL said it was delivered on 12/16 IIRC (there is an old DHL hack that you can get a good idea of when your packet was shipped and when it arrived). So I don't know WHY it took so long.

All cases arrive at the consultant section across the street from the embassy visa section in BKK. The transfer of the case takes about 3 days if all goes well. Its possible for a case to arrive and the visa section not know so the responses are flawed to a degree. 

Hello. It took our packet over 3 weeks to arrive at the Embassy (although I personally believe it was there much longer and just back logged). I kept calling NVC and they would give me the date the packet was shipped. I would email the Embassy (about every other day to ask if the packet had been received) and they would reply promptly and politely hat the case had not yet been received. Give them a few more days. It was indeed a maddening period because from the time lines I assumed the shipping/receipt part would be straightforward and fast! It will surface soon. Good luck!  

Just to let everyone know, my NOA2 was completed May 5, and has shipped to the embassy from NVC yesterday, May 23. Hope this is useful information for anyone who has a case in NVC. Good luck everybody!

I am happy to advised everyone that after 2weeks of waiting after my RFE have been received, I received my Noa2 today , approved 5/8

Same here - I spoke to my fiancé this morning and we agreed that we should just focus on the snail mail for now. So she's going to check every day after work (she's usually terrible with mail and only looks once every week or so) and see if we get something. I said to her that it would be quite fitting if that's how we end this phase of the journey, as we started it with an agonising wait for her bank to mail new checks out so we could submit our payment and application!
