She is not going to need any of that as originals. You sending them to her will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 to $150. Everything can be scanned and emailed to her. Most of the documents, except for the employment, USEM already has that information from your I-129f submittal.  Everything that will be needed is contained in the Embassy Letter which I'll link below. You only need the items as outlined in this letter. Use it as a guide and a checklist to ensure she is ready. Her interview will last less than 5 minutes tops.

Also, use Hank's website for additional steps that will save you time and money.

Hi! I just read this. :D  yoi can just scan it to her, then she can print it. My fiancé was going to send his docs to me by courier but I told him to just scan or send the files to me. But during my interview, the consul didn't even asked for any of his documents! Even the form i-134. Just the official documents: NBI, cenomar, birth certificate and medical certificate and the MRv Slip..  they didn't even take a look at our photos 😭

Thanks for your advise.. Im gonna be sending her a package anyway so I am going to include all our paperwork just in case. She has not computer or printer access and has to go to town to get to a computer shop - So I am making it easier for her to just send everything to her.

We cant move forward otherwise because we are waitin to see if her friend is able to obtain her police clearance from Lebanon before we even make arrangements and or schedule interview.

Sucks we have everything but one document that could take 3-6 months if her friend cannot get.

Totally bummed and stressed we both are.

Thank you so much once again.

You really didn't need to wait till your case showed "Ready". Your wasting valuable time in less your not in a hurry. I posted to some websites that will help you along with the process in the Philippines. You do not need to call the embassy to schedule your interview. Its all done online. There isn't anything that needs to be mailed to your fiance for her interview. Everything can be scanned and emailed.

    THank you

I was gonna send her all original documents, my w2, proof of employment, tax records, pay stubs, online chats and pictures, my passport pictures, recipts of our visit together with engagemnet rings..

all original documents and rfe - letters of intent.

shes gonna have it all in the event they ask for it.

your saying she needs none of those ???

    Thanks for all ur help

Ahhhhhh  A glimpse at my future........  oh, sorry             Yeah      call the embassy    er     or schedule interview on their website.  I believe there are still some slots available in September.  Sneak a peak for me and let me know what is still available if you think of it.

Gather your documents, that Lebanon certificate may be a pain in the delay department, hope not

She is still gathering documents. She is picking up her cenomar as we speak.

She is also having a friend in lebanon tey to get her police certificate providing them permission and her dates of employment there.Im not gonna schedule interview or medical till she has all do umenta from me also which i just completed today and need to send to her fedex.

  6. Hello everyone,

So I did get a letter from NVC saying they shipped to embassy in Manila and that they would call my fiance when it is time to schedule interview.

so just a few questions if anyone is willing to help. Thanks in advance.

Just want to take all the proper steps in the right direction.

we are currently trying to figure out how to get her police certificate from lebanon which could screw things up royally.

1 - Is it better to call embassy to see if they are ready?

2 - When are fees due and is there a link.?

3 -. Does fees have to be paid before medical online registration?

Best of luck again to all.

    Thank god for this community

    Steven & Adhen ❤️

I'm so happy to have a NOA2 and My Fiancee is twice as happy - She's been the silent warrior behind the scenes with her patience and encouragement.  Y'all don't know but she has the log in credentials but just lurks and has yet to utter a word in here - I believe she thinks I say enough for both of us - but from the bottom of my heart all the congratulations, and endorsements to our announcement yesterday - I really want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us for 5 months...... @twinee @LabOz @Estibaliz @dkmfan85 @troika @PB&FM @BahamaIslander242 @Nhona Scott @JloveN @lon552 @P and L @Kateryna_I @Yzabelle @falcao79 @holly @NovaDC @TearsOfBabylon @SChamb and so many more that I am at a loss to remember at this time.....

    THANX!!!!!!!

Now, for anyone else without a noa2, let's focus on getting you across this finish line.   No One gets left behind in the March Filers!!!!!

Congratulations both of you - I will always be here for help also. Lets keep this train rolling to visa in hands

  9. Does the NVC send an email and or letter of when they ship case - and more importantly a list of required documents for the interview.

My fiance and I are discussing a police certificate from when she used to work in lebanon a year ago. she was there for two years.

And from reading other posts getting  a police certificate from lebanon is a long wait and not even guaranteed unless you go there.

Im hoping now NVC will let me know if that is required once the send my lettter.

    Any thoughts???

    Omg the journey continues

I was having the exact same issue with this!!! i was told by others not to put anything as your are correct the benificiary is already listed in part 2. I hope that is correct? did anyone who already got their visa do the same ? (edited - please write NONE as it states that in the question.. but not the ben. name)

Also just a question regarding packet 4. (working ahead) I am looking at the packet 4 checklist for montreal canada and i see they are asking for the below - would a copy of my fiances passport and work letter be good enough? or are they looking for something specific?

    o. Copy of the U.S. petitioner status in the USA

    p. Copies of documents proving petitioner’s U.S. domicile

i googled Question 26 I134 form - it said use current

I have no idea on packet 4 - lol - still trying to get ds160 done here

I was wondering that myself... I eventually put None. My thought behind this was that the beneficiary is already listed in part 2 and maybe it is for kids or previous bene's? I don't know.. things like this could definitely be more specific and  precise.
Let me know your thoughts =)
I'm hoping to mail my stuff tomorrow.

Put in fiances name on line 26

  12. Ok feeling confident as things are moving along. We Got This !!!

    * I have made copies of everything to send to her (Initial packet, birth certificates, passport, receipts, tax forms, employer letter, USCIS letters, additional intent to marry.

    * She started the DS160 form but we will finish tomorrow.

    * She is going to get her CENOMAR tomorrow and inquire about her nearest NBI office because it recently relocated.

    * I will call the NVC this week to see if case received.

Then from there we can start preparing our timeline to fly her from Davao to Manila for medical and interview.

Feeling good and once again thanks for all input from the March team.

does anyone know when the background check typically starts and finishes within the noa1 to noa2 timeline? Does the background check start near the beginning after noa1 and does it take the majority of the noa1 to noa2 timeline to finish completing?

Im pretty sure background checks are done when approved petition gets sent to the NVC. I read they do background checks before sending case to the Embassy

  14. Quick question

    On the i-134 form

    Part 3 Section 26 abc 27

Should I list my fiance name here? Or is for a second person?

Also - should I list my fiances kids even though there are not initially coming right away?

Thanks to all for your recent feedback on my questions.

    You have been extremely helpful.

Knocking these tasks down one by one, step by step thanks to this awesome group of March filers

Medical can be done 7-10 days before interview to give time for results and for them to be forwarded to the Embassy

St. Lukes Clinic in Manila and the Embassy are all within walking distance of each other.

I recommend https://www.agoda.com/casa-bocobo-hotel/hotel/manila-ph.html?cid=-218 Casa Bocobo Hotel. Tell them I sent you..LOL...just kidding they don't know me.

Anyways between the medical and the interview she can do the required CFO as well.

You may want to check the Philippines forum here to see what others have to say about the timing issue.

    Congrats on the NOA 2.

    Steven

Another quick question - Since I will be booking the flight and hotel - what do you think is enough of a time frame? 2 weeks???

    Thanks Again seriously appreciate it
