Hi everyone I just want to inform you guys that I have a friend who is an April filer as well who got her NOA2..NOA1 is April 14 2017 and NOA2 is June 17...😊😊😊

You are more than welcome to vent. We all do at some point, because we all have sad days and down moments. This is not an easy process at all. One keeps telling themselves it's just a few more months, that's not too much in the big picture and compared to other waits before... But knowing what's at stake and how your life will change just make things more than slightly different.
And yeah, empathy can work here to help people understand what you are going through, but lots of people don't even try to get that understanding. How you can't know when things will happen. How your life is on hold. How you have to expose so many things about your life and relationship. How you can be judged wrongly. How people assume you are some kind of person just because you are the beneficiary in this process. How people assume your intentions can be different from reality because you are from a certain country (i.e. what happened to Trinab80's fiance), or because you are a girl. How it seems some people talk about the beneficiary as an accessory more than a real person changing all his/her life... Well, I know everyone loves their s.o., but still feels like that sometimes. I guess it's part of human nature, thinking your relationship is real, but maybe other's are just getting scammed or not thinking it through. Thinking that, because as a petitioner they did all the work, every beneficiary's work is just to be cute and worry. I'm sure my fiance would say I'm good at both  but I also invested a lot of time and work in trying to understand this process and work it so it can be as easily as possible for the both of us. I just plain hate being a burden in any way or form you can imagine.
 
Oh well I guess I am somehow venting too... And not that I had any related experience. But my point is still the usual... It's hard.
 
I do feel you there when you say you'll get excited knowing your time will be closer when April starts to see movement. That has happened to me with March fillers (apart from the fact they are really wonderful people there, so it's great to see them happy). But it's kind of bittersweet, because it seems things are not moving as fast or as much as I would like them to. Still seeing a lot of people from February getting approved right now, you start to overthink. I might not be one of the luckiest. It might be longer than expected. I might have left my hopes go high trying to figure out when I could be moving. Yeah, just a bit question mark and a whole emotional rollercoaster.
 
I guess I just try not to think too much about it and focus on the positives, even if it's as simple as seeing other people happy and knowing it will be us at some point.
 
Oh well... I'm not even sure what I've typed so far, lol. I think I'll let it here for today

i am just posting here to tell you that be patient, our time is arriving.
i want share with you that a sweet person ran a scan for march fier and show yesterday 3 approvals from march and others cases touched, that mean that they are working on march so after us you are the next. fingers cross and patient

We put the date when USCIS received the petition application. It's also the date that appears on the case status at USCIS' website when they received it.

Totally fine.  Don't worry about it.  Born a USC pretty much explains it all... plus the required evidence - birth certificate or U.S. passport.

No you are fine.....no other box is to be ticked as your fiance is a US Citizen by birth.

Not only should it be fine, I think it would be preferred.... because as you said, "single" implies "never married" in my mind too. Marking "divorced" allows them to expect further documentation showing divorce or annulment. 
 
Either way, the adjudicators are human and will be able to read and understand the evidence in front of them.
As long as you are "free to marry" and can prove it - a checkbox is of little consequence.  

I see no issue with the I-129F, if it doesn't offer an annulment choice then divorced is what I would use.
 
choose divorced on the DS-160 also if there is not an annulment box, and bring copies of your documents to the interview.

I/we are an April filer too, we sent our i-129F packet last April 17, 2017 and expected to be delivered April 19, 2017. I/we are praying that our documents will be properly handled. Just like the rest of you, I/we are excited in this new journey.
