Thanks! Yea it looks like we are gonna stay around in rio to pick up passport and fly to US from there , flights back to her hometown is too much so we rather stay in a hotel in rio and pick it up there. 

I did waited for the email with the instructions, I received email from NVC with RDJ on Jul 6 , then on Jul 10 i received the email saying it arrived in Rio.

NVC received it on the 28 of june, i kept calling asking for case number but they always said it still wasn't received, a week later i received email with it .

if yours left yesterday it could probably be there in 2-3 days , just keep waiting for the email with instructions, start filling out and saving your ds-160 and when it comes you can submit, pay the fees and schedule interview . 

Does anyone know around how many days after interview it take in Rio to receive the passport? 

Trying to decide with fiance whats financially best for us if return home or stay in Rio waiting for passport and the fly to USA

Thanks! It took i think 4 days after my case said "Ready" on CEAC page , i believe it arrives to the consulate last thursday and we received the email on monday.  

There were dates available from the 18 onwards , but only every Tuesday is when they conduct the K interview , we scheduled for the 25 at 7:40 am , pretty early. 

Hey guys, little update going on here. So we finally received the email from the embassy in Rio to schedule the interview, we had already started to fill out DS-160 and saved it , yesterday we submitted our ds-160 , paid the fees for the interview and started booking our flights for the interview. 

Fiance is doing her medical exams today and the doctor appointment next week. 

They really wasnt kidding when they said things got pretty fast after NOA2! 

To those still waiting on noa2 , dont loose faith , cuz soon it will come and things move pretty fast after that!  Im rooting for ya'll

Only the petiotioner , my fiance will receive an email once it reaches the embassy with instructions for the interview. 

Hi guys, so i have an interesting one ... after 2.5 weeks after NOA2 i decided to call NVC , wich was las wednesday and i told the case had been received on that day, then i called on friday and they said they had not received it , so who the hell is right ? Right? 

My fiance told me to send an inquiry theu nvc website. 

I called on Monday , nope we havent received it , Holiday was close , got up today and called around 9, Nope we have not received it from USCIS , it can take up to 6 weeks! 😞😞😞😞😞

then same day at around 12 pm i received the emails with our case numbers and its already showing as in transit!  

Sending out that inquiry might also be a good idea, since is something more formal than calling. 

Hey guys , i called NVC last wednesday and they had told me my case was received on that day, i called today and they said the case has not been received🤔 

Has this happened to anyone ? Its been about 25 days since NOA2

Called this morning to NVC around 9:30 , just to see if they had received my case. 

Lady picked up, asked for my USCIS Receipt number wich i provided, then a couple seconds of silence then she said : " looks like we just received your case this morning, it takes around 2 weeks to get a case number assigned " 

my NoA2 was from 06/09

Your NOA2 has to be very soon, and, that USCIS date is about to pass yours, so they know they have to get in gear. My guess is that you get your NOA2 this week.

Last time @TriloByte predicted someting like this , my NOA2 came the day after! 

Hang in there and really hope you get that awaited letter this week!

Day 126 for me today 😞 , yet waiting for that NOA2 , at least im flying to see my fiance this week , it would be so nice to receive it while together ... im sure there would be a big Brazilian style celebration hehe

Having the same NOA1 date , i know exactly how frustrating its been for us to have such a long wait. Its been 4 months already with no response what so ever. 

Im a very patient person , mostly cuz of my Automotive Racing career wich has taught me not to give up regardless of any punch you take along the race, because it aint over until that start/finish line is crossed, but this process has really showed me a new meaning to the word Patience. 

My Fiance on the other hand, not so patient , but she did a great job during the first 3 months of the process, then the reality started to sink in and the dissapointment of not receiving a letter yet made this process a bit tougher since it had been already 6 months since last time we saw each other and our normal in between time was around 2-3 months. 

Lucky me i will have 5 weeks in between one race and another and all stars aligned for me to be able to go visit her for a week down in Brazil. At least these will make our minds shift a bit , and enjoy being with each other while we keep waiting for our NOA2. 

I've felt let down many times along the wait also, but kept my head up cuz i know it will all be worth it at the end for all of us ...

And remember it aint over until the checker flag is waived buddy!

Jeez where all NOA2 for Feb 2 Filers at!!!!??? seems like they completely forgot about us! very stressful being in the unknown now without any estimate date from VJ , broken USCIS tracker, etc.and also seeing people behind and after our dates getting approvals , happy for them but man , wheres our stuff at!? hehe

Really looking forward to moving on with these process, been a long 5 months being away from my fiance all this time but im sure it will be worth the wait!

Damn , what i see here they have completely forgotten about Jan 31 dates, barely no one has been touched , then its frustrating to see people from Feb being approved, and wondering what happen to your case,

im at 109 Days now since filling and hopefully get some news soon, me and my fiance have been very patient up to this point but its wearing out. 

The dates on these scans go based on the received dates or in the NOA1 Dates?

Any NOA1 Feb 2 approvals yet? I see a bunch of february fillers being approved already, 105 days since date sent , dying to be with my loved one.

I did not get RFE , im still waiting for my NOA2 , just gave an example for Steve&Ligia of the translated documents we sent. 

We also sent passport photos with all stamps of our trips , so hopefully they dont ask for anything more. We will keep paciently waiting , Currently on day 93 so we'll see , really looking forward to that noa2
