  1. Congratulations! I guess the field offices are picking up speed. Compared to the removal of conditions, this seems like a breeze for sure. Just bring what is on checklist. Look over the application for anything you may have forgotten that needs to be amended at interview. Study the civics questions. Good luck!
  2. Regardless, you were decided to have the wrong visa at your POE. There are many questions that you have failed to address/answer surrounding the circumstances at your POE. Please answer such questions as: what did the officer say? Were you allowed to withdraw your visa? Were you placed in expedited removal? You stated you were deported. You were either denied entry or removed, since you were not admitted. Have you ever been deported?
  3. You may ask the agent for the SS# whilst you apply. If not, it came approx 1 week later for us by mail.
  4. He lives with his uncle, and stated he will until the process is over, so household size will be bigger.
  5. What was the questions asked at POE? As @Boiler, @Timona@powerpuffhave stated, it will be an uphill battle to try to secure another, as something has aroused their suspicions. @SalishSeapointed out, you may want to pursue studies in your country. You will have to reapply for the visa again.
  6. Definitely a mistake. You have to be interviewed at local office. Glad you got your interview notice!
  7. Welcome to Visa Journey!

  8. Good luck! I found that N-400 was nowhere near as long as ROC!
  9. Congratulations! Charlotte did not do same day! I am glad certificate is in hand.
  10. Less expensive and shorter time to marry her in another country and file CR1.
  11. You were not refused visa on this letter. You were denied the interview waiver. Answer is no, unless you have been denied a visa before....
  12. Fingers crossed that the good news keeps coming.... update us on your case.... Good luck!
  13. It depends on your local field office processing times. You can also apply for urgent travel with proof of tickets/itinerary. It costs more, but an option.
  14. We applied for SS# before getting married, approximately day 2 or 3 after arrival. They can supply you with SS# that day. You can go and have legal marriage, start your adjustment process, and have your ceremonial wedding. @Mike Estated, best times are 2-10 working days after entry, but before marriage.... Good luck!
