  1. It seems that what was asked was standard information. No need to pay your lawyer again, as you are doing the work anyway. At least, that is how it was for me. I wish you success on your journey...
  2. Congratulations! Applied 7/19, received 7/31 mailed regular and still waiting. I assume still a month and a half to go...
  3. If I am reading this correctly, you should read the application in Bold that states if the beneficiary is in the US, the fill out the Austin, TX part. If not, just the Casablanca part. @Troy Bwrote, not both. The applications states is he is in US, then fill that part out. @Boilerexplained this is why the application is in limbo. See below.
  4. Check with state. Sponsoring K1, you would provide evidence of relationship. Were you married when proposal occurred? Spousal visa is option, as well. CR1 is taking a little longer, but less frustration and less cost. I believe @Crazy Cat has given a great list of each visa.
  5. It is called G-1145 form. I sent it with application. You can also download an app to phone like lawfully. It will send sent you notifications if any change in your case.
  6. Go to documents. If you submitted online Aug 28, then I suspect that it is account acceptance notice, receipt notice (NOA) and biometric notice.
  7. If you plan on moving back to US in a couple of years, it may be better to marry in Mexico and apply for the spousal visa. By the time it is approved, you will be almost ready to move. Good luck!
  8. You are supposed to notify USCIS of any address change.
  9. According to OP, OP does not wish to seek counseling.
  10. I believe many factors that you have listed may warrant competent professional advice. I do not believe this site can give you the advice you are seeking. Perhaps others may direct you to competent immigration attorneys.... best wishes.
  11. You did not answer the third question. Are you staying until you receive the 10 yr green card?
  12. @Crazy Catoutlined each visa. K1s used to be quicker, much quicker. Only certain circumstances warrant a K1 visa. I believe the better option is CR1. Yes, it may be a little longer, but much cheaper and less time involved. I was K1, and would have rather opted for CR1.... just my two cents...
  13. I put it in bold above about paying the $750. I assumed you were talking about applying for n-400 again.
  14. Green card taken at oath ceremony. You can apply for urgent travel with proof of travel plans (tickets, iternerary). Passport agencies can accept, but costs more.
  15. I was just asking if anyone knew if focus has changed from family based to other category visas.
  16. As I am reading about new members just applying for K1/CR1-IR1 visas, I am aware that it now takes twice, sometimes three times longer for the visas. This is incredible! Does anyone have an idea as to why the process is taking so long? I fear that in two years, it will be as long as bringing a brother/sister over from another country. I wanted to if anyone had any feedback as to the wait times? Are they focusing on other category visas?
  17. 10 Days for it to update with SSA. Take original copy, as they need to Photocopy it themselves. Took 5 minutes, once called. Will mail updated SS card.
