Had my medical today, so that's done! and i'm interview readyyyyyyyyy 12 days to Go

This is making me ecstatic and quite nervous/anxious at the same time! It's D-day minus 6 for us and the pressure is growing!
 
 
 
 
 

Sitting in the embassy right now waiting to be called for my interview... Eek! 🤞🤞🤞

332 day later and we finally get some news!!
Our case was finally approved (priority date Jan 15) and sent to the Department of State. Got notification via email this afternoon! Hard copy of NOA2 hasn't come in the mail yet so I cannot update my timeline quite yet.
Sweet jesus that was quite the wait, but it does come! Now the easy part!!

So, as of today, medical exam : check.
 
This one was super easy, barely a light check-up... I took care of the vaccination last week, so we just did the influenza shot, Varicella is based on the testimony that I had it as a kid.
Other than that, chest xray, tiny phlebotomy (just one dose) and peeing in a cup. That's it, no blood pressure controle, heart or ears check.
 
They just want to know if you're not carrying tuberculosis or any STD  :-/
 
 
Bottomline, the results will be available in two weeks, juuuuuust in time for the interview. Told the doc I did ASAP but was given very short notice (which seems usual as I've heard).
 
 
Anyway, Interview day minus 2 weeks, clock is ticking !

Well obviously, Friday was a holiday... took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r to talk to a representative today, as I still didn't have a date for the interview.
 
And... *drumroll*, as a a matter of fact, today... I was told that my interview had been scheduled for DECEMBER 5th ! Like, super soon!
 
 
Someone is not going to be able to sleep tonight, out of sheer excitement! :-)   WOOOOOT!

Hello my good people, hope you are doing well. I'm doing ok myself, trying to adjust to the Dutch autumn...i wasn't looking forward to being here but anywhooo...i'll manage. No CC news from me yet but it's been an interesting week...i called NVC out of boredom 3 times to have them tell me review takes 11 weeks in total..one lady was like hmmmm...september...october...november...24th of November the latest you will hear something...got me confused because we were told the docs were sent to the review department on 10/10. So fast forward we called yesterday and the lady said...she could see that the documents have been viewed...but she can't say if they were reviewed...but they're allowed up to 11 weeks so yeah. 😝.  
 
My wife will be here in 18 days and then we're off to Paris to celebrate her 40th bday and then she's back off to work in Illinois. So atleast I have 5 fun days in November to look forward to.
