VeraBradley got a reaction from YafaUSA in I-751 January 2017 Filers
Good Morning!
I woke up to three text messages from USCIS. I have been approved!!! No RFE or Interview.
My timeline is below:
Applied: Jan 23, 2017 (Divorce Waiver)
Transferred to NBC: May 7, 2018
Approved and Card Production: June 27, 2018
I would like to ask for the ones that have received their green cards - how long did it take for your green card to come in after the approval? Also, with the changes in mailing the green card, do they require the signature when they deliver it? Or are they still leaving it in the mailbox? I ask because I am travelling next Tuesday for 2 weeks and kind of nervous about missing the green card.
Good luck to all those who are still waiting - it is on its way, I promise!!

It looks like cases that do not require RFE or interviews and have NOT applied for N-400 are getting transferred to NSC or TSC for quicker processing. But I could be completely wrong since its USCIS after all

I read in some other threads that they got the card is being produced update directly without the approval update. Congrats!!
BTW, did your case get transferred at all?

By reading on other threads, it looks like usually an approval/RFE/interview follows this transfer. Fingers crossed for all of us to see our approval letters and shiny new green cards soon!

I just got an email that my case has been transferred and another office has jurisdiction. For those of you that have received the transfer notice in the mail, how long did it take after the email notice?

They just transferred your case from California to Texas. Many filers have received that. In my opinion you do not need a lawyer as you do not need to do anything on your end yet.
Thanks!

I saw on other threads that a few are getting the case transferred update as of yesterday and today. I wonder if it has anything to do with sending an inquiry about the "ghost update". I amJan 17 CSC filer and I did not submit an inquiry (case transferred 2/26 and 3/4) and have not received another update either.. hmmm..

You can share the following links with your employer to educate them that I-551 stamp does consider you as a Permanent resident and is a List A item:

I think a couple filers have received a notice. Not sure if it is because of the bulk transfer or not.

Congratulations! Can you please tell us your NOA date and also the service center you filed at? Did you receive the letter from the service center or from a local office? Any info you can provide will be super helpful. Also, did your case status change last week like most of us about transferring your case or is March 5th transfer the first update you saw?
Thanks!

Do you know if they were VSC or CSC? Also, is this update on the biometrics receipt number or the one on the extension letter?

Yeah, definitely does not seem like a glitch to me either as it clearly says you will be receiving a notice.

I think he should be good to go with his extension letter. He can also get an I-551 by taking his two passport size pics and they will give him a card with the stamp.
Most of the offices only give stamp 2-3 weeks prior to the expiration of the extension letter. However, if you show the ticket and the need to go, they should be able to give you the stamp regardless of the expiration date. Good luck!

Using an app, I tried to search for 500 cases around my case number. Out of the 500, around 30 of them are showing "Validation Error". This clearly means that their status was not updated to "Case received at local office"
Not sure if this means anything, but if it was a glitch wouldn't everyone receive the update?
Also, the 500 cases I searched are all CSC cases with WAC at the beginning and are all I-751.
