I had to read "the white house is in Washington D.C." and I had to write "the president lives in the White House"
Questions
1. What did Susan B Anthony do?
2. 50 stars
3. USA Capital
4. Presidents party - Republican
5. Reason colonists came to America
And I don't remember the other one lol. But it was an easy one.
I was approved.
No I'm waiting for my naturalization ceremony
I am scheduled for 27th of August ceremony. You guys must live on the Missouri side. I live in Kansas maybe that's why mine is on a different day

My status changed ten minutes after the interview
I got the oath letter in my documents and it's scheduled for August 27 in KCK. I live in Kansas so maybe that's why

Speechless.
Hopefully it's just a bug

I was approved for AOS in my vj timeline but it's still showing pending AOS instead of pending naturalization for some reason?

I live in Kansas though so I might follow that schedule for the link I just posted? There's July 27th and August 7th but idk how they are basing it on

I was hoping to do it today and have two surprises in one but a little more waiting won't hurt

Congratulations. I am surprised they still do not provide same day oaths given current situation and overwhelming backlog.
Thank you
I was surprised too
Just now, Georgia16 said:Should be August 19th or september 16th. Kansas City only have 1 oath per month unfortunately.
How do you know that information? Is there anywhere I can look at up?

Was hoping for a same day Oath for you - but you'll be able to vote after all. Your journey is almost over
I was hoping for the same too but hopefully it's soon

So I finished my interview 8 AM exactly and here is how it went down. Kansas City MO
1. Welcome and follow me to the room
2. Oath that I will be saying the truth
3. Biometrics and a picture with webcam
4. Went right into the test
Civic: Date of independence - How many years senators serve - name one person who wrote federalist papers - where's statue of liberty - who's the chief of military - how many senators in the senate
I got all of them right so we went into the reading and writing
It was where is the white house? For reading
The white house is in Washington D.C. for the writing
After passing she confirmed all of my info on my form (address, job, date of birth and phone number)
The questions from the last section of the form (terrorist organization, military organization, communism part etc...) All my answers were no of course.
Then she said congratulations I am recommending your approval and keep an eye on the ceremony letter.
It was a painless 30 minutes and the officer was the absolute best. She didn't ask me about my marriage at all (I am applying based on 3 year marriage) and she didn't to ask to see any documents apart from my id and green card
My status online changed to that I am in line for a ceremony and to basically wait.
Good luck to everyone

Do you have combo interview for I-751 and N-400 together?
Just N400

I have a question for everyone! In the new appointment notice it says only bring someone to help you if you're disabled or a lawyer if you have.
I am applying for naturalization based on marriage. Does that mean my wife shouldn't come?

Got my new date! July 13th
Original date was April 12th
Kansas City field office

You also need to bring:
- the original marriage certificate;
- your USC spouses birth certificate;
- your green card (if you have it); and
- passports you’ve used to travel in and out of the country for the last 3 (or 5) years.
The letter will specify the items you need, but yes, as a best practice, bring a copy of your submission.
Sounds good. My interview is 4/20 finally

Not yet, but proof of bonafide marriage. Commingling finances, lease with both names, car titles, photos, utility bills, mail to same address, everything that proofs shared residence and marital union.
Even though we submitted all of that online???

Anyone that went to the interview knows what to take to the immigration interview for 3 years marriage? What documents you had to take?
