The maximum limit on a money order is $1000. What I (and most of us do is) make 2 money orders and yes USCIS will accept 2 money orders as they know the limit for a money order is $1000. So do this $1000 + $225 = $1225

USPS does $1000. I went to USPS and got money orders done there and sent off my AOS package

Ok I’m now seeing this, went to the bank and did a cashiers cheque... wanted to be sure

On the AOS final page? Yes or else your application would be rejected & sent back to you .

Ok thank you hun, I don’t remember it printing in the paper in the first phase of the process and when I researched I saw ppl used white- out lol ... ok I just signed next to it, added pics. Think everything is ok. Will FINALLY be sending today. My wife and I have been so delinquent with this part of the process.... but I truly hope that I get it sooner than later and wishing the same for all!

I think it depends on where you live.  I was able to get certified copies 2 days after I got married.  We could have got them the same day but you had to drop off the signed license at a specific office to register it and we didnt want to drive across town.

    oh got you.

the i693- did y'all go to a civil surgeon to get additional vaccines?

also what is the address to send the package to? is the address the same for all persons?

We got married on 23rd September too :D. Ours was very low key at a court house in Orange County with just me, my fiancee and her daughter as our witness. We are doing the full big 'wedding' back in the UK with all our friends and families in June next year (although we're now legally already married).

We are also doing a big wedding in 2019 on august 24th! lol congratulations to u as well! Wishing you guys all the best! And everyone else hope to hear updates from you all!

How did u send in your aos documents the day after getting married, don't we need the certificate back from the court? Or is it just the marriage license? Because I thought we had to submit a copy of the certificate too and that take a week or so

I totally feel you....i feel bad a lot of times....I've even told him...I can let you go....I feel so much pain taking him from his family...they are all very close. And I feel so much anxiety about my kids....and him getting along...he has his own anxiety issues....and he tells me he wants to try as hard as he can but just can't say for sure and as much as I get this....after almost 2 years, a divorce, flying to him 4 times and the visa bull....I just can't help but to have a negative vibe and wonder...what the hell am I doing at times.....especially because This is a new love experience for me on a level I've never known and its scary as hell to imagine losing it....and yes...I do have abandonment issues....my dad left when I was 18 months and my mom gave me to my grandparents at 7 when she divorced my stepdad and I was separated from my younger bro....some things leave a whole in your heart...and altho I've come along way....there is still a tender scar if you rub hard enough...thank you for sharing your story...I wish u the best.

Wow.... I'm sending all the love I can and I will prayer that u find peace in everything. I hope in the end all your trials are turned into greatness and you continue to overcome it all until there is only happiness and peace. I'm sure the 'little' u have said here will help build someone up and remind them that there is never really a reason to be sad cuz there are others facing way more and I hope we can also build u up and continue to be a shoulder for you to lean on through everything... blessings my friend!

So stressed out! My fiancé had his k1 interview at USE Jakarta! He was one of the last interviews, it was the day before their holiday, the interview was rushed, the CO didn't even look at the affidavit of support, just asked my fiancé one question about me then asked my fiancé about a previous application he put in 2010 to come to the US. Returned his passport, kept the originals to all his documents, then gave him a white slip 221G and checked off administrative processing. Told my fiancé they would call or email him. I am pregnant due in October and very very stressed. I've called multiple times to speak to someone but because of the holiday and communication barrier it has been difficult. I don't know if I should travel to Jakarta and go to the embassy. Any advice???

I know that it's hard for u to do right now but u need to try to find some way to focus your energies on something positive for the sake of the baby.

i was put in admin processing for 4 weeks after the interview and got my visa issued thereafter- I will recommend giving it 2 months... which is what they said is the time frame before they really 'have to' give an explanation. At this point contacting the embassy is pointless if he was placed on admin processing, they will just be doing a background check and once all is fine they will ask him to send in the passport.. I know how u feel I was there and the mental pressure I was under, if u are goin through anything similar to me it's not good for the baby... so try to be patient and just keep each other occupied as much as possible until the good news come.
