If they didn't ask for anything else, kept passport abd stuff, all can do now is wait really. AP can take a long as they need it to so can't say how long it could take, just have to try to be patient at this point while they finish their checks.

Yes, we sent all the documents to the embassy on 12/20 and I received an email today with the interview date. He has his interview 01/19. So we're starting to plan his trip to Buenos Aires and back to Mendoza. We requested his passport be delivered to DHL in Mendoza so we don't waste any more money on an extended stay in Buenos Aires.
 
I know from the user who had her interview in Bogota that the medical was like a 2 or 3 day process and then they had the interview that same week, or the week after. They then waited there and picked the passport up at the embassy. I think they were there for a week or 2, but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully everyone can get through the process quickly and be with their loved ones.

01 & 02 is linked to the beneficiary/s. When I submitted the I-129F application I listed my fiance's son as well, even though he's not immigrating with him so my fiance had 01 after the HAV# and his son had 02. They do this in case the child is immigrating with the parent. The 01/02 etc is normal.

Basically that everything is being sent to Bogota and if we had an interview date that NVC would send me something with a new date on it, and if we didn't have an interview date yet then NVC would send me notification of next steps. It's just all up in the air right now and I don't believe they have anything set out as to how they'll process the visas.
 
The update in your case may just mean that they are starting to send it to Bogota, but you'll know for sure once it's there because it'll put BGT after your HAV#.. For example we were able to send our petition to Argentina since that's where my fiance is right now and when the case was updated it added BNS to the end of our HAV case number. Then they sent us the packet 3 in an email stating the transfer was successful and next steps to get the interview date.
 
So keep an eye out for your email. I doubt that anyone will get any information for an interview or next steps until Dec or after the first of the year. Things are so insane right now with the US and Cuba.

Failure to renew a green card isn't actually a deportable offense. The green card is proof of legal status....her actual LPR status doesn't expire until they make a determination to do so. I'm not suggesting letting the card lapse...just pointing out that doing so doesn't immediately make you deportable.
 
But either way, she's fine to wait a bit. If it gets too close to the expiration of her green card, she can file for a replacement and get an I-551 stamp good for up to one year while the new card is pending.

Quick update: My fiancé received NVC letter in the mail last Saturday dated 13/07/17. Case # received currently ceac site says Case Ready...🙌🏾🙌🏾 All the best March filers hang it there .🙏🏻

I know very well your feeling about meet someone and then when you get feeling they werent looking for a serious relationship, i got tired of that.
And very heart broken all the time, but even if it is hard to belive, the right person will arrive when be the moment.
And then you will understand why the others guys didnt stay on your life.

There you are!!! Thank you for sharing the news of your NOA2...my timeline is exactly one day behind yours so that gives me some much needed hope that I will get mine soon. I've been having an emotional breakdown every other day by now so any good news helps!

Hey Whiners!

Some news from a very tired German weirdo!

Got up at 3am, picked up a close friend for moral support, left here at 4am for the 3,5 hour drive to Frankfurt.

Got to the clinic, got a wristband saying "USA 1", which meant I was first (holy crapples I'm so  happy we left that early; others are sitting there for hours!!!).... was a nervous wreck, shaking and blabbering pure nonsens, forgot my wallet in the car, forgot my own adress lol .... BUT....

MEDICAL EXAM IS DONE AND PASSED!!!!

I couldn't be more relieved! My lungs are fine, nothing in there!

One step closer - now I can really start looking forward, and start selling the big furniture here.



Now it's 8pm, I'm still up, worn out and dead. Gonna take a shower and hit the hay... with a relieved sleep knowing of being healthy!

Thank you. I know God does things for a reason and I'm pretty sure he was protecting me from more heartbreak or something worse. Funny thing is that he came to me at a point that I wasn't looking, so I thought that he was the one. Unfortunately, not the case and I'm kind of at the point/mood right now that I'm not entertaining anything. I've met a couple of guys and they all seem like great guys and seem like they want something real until I start catching feelings and then it's "oh, I wasn't looking for anything serious.".... uumm okay. So I'm pretty much done..
