we got our EAD & AP card in the mail today!!!!!! Finally !!!! 

Hello all!  Just an update...  On the USCIS tracker,  it still shows as card being produced, but on DHS tracker, it updated the next morning on 25th to card being produced, and last night it read (only on the DHS tracker) that action was taken, and when I logged in, it shows case approved on the 25th April.  Also, wanted to say we did no service requests, after reading some horrible waiting times for those who did, we were wondering if they put it at the bottom of the pile....Hang in there, for all still waiting.... I check regularly for approvals from the ones still waiting.....  congrats @Rmsean!  

No worries. 
Since were on the same boat we have to keep each other updated. 
This waiting is like us being hybernated, we can’t do anything but I’m not complaining though at least we’re with our husband/wife.

Yeah so I just got to my infopass and inquired about my I485 status and was told that my case is ready to be schedule for an interview since March 21. However since my local office is taking up to 10 months for the interview date, i’ll just have to wait. 
And also to add that as per the IO EAD and AP will now take 5-7 months to be process.

I just wanted to let you know that it went pretty fast for me once my case was approved online.
Last Tuesday, my online status for EAD changed to approved.
Last Friday, I received the two letters (for EAD and Advance Parole).
Last Saturday, I got my social security number.
And today, Tuesday, I found my combo card in the mailbox!
Total: 7 days! 
 
Sending good vibes to the ones that are still waiting, I am sure the wait is almost over!

I had given up hope on hearing anything anytime soon because of the User Defined Error, going through Chicago, and not seeing any updates on any of the sites.  It was definitely a surprise to see the letter today in the mail after I had done my usual case tracking with no changes.  I will certainly post our interview experience after we get home that day.

I also have the same case as yours, the very famous “User Defined Error” that started end of March. I’m not keeping my hopes that high as my field office is also one of the busiest.

Well, I guess I get the honor of being the 2nd February filer to get an interview letter :-)
 
Opened the mailbox and saw a letter from USCIS.  I had assumed this was in regards to our change of address, so opened it up and, Nope, it's the interview letter.  Interview is scheduled for May 14th in Chicago with the notice dated April 9th.
 
So, it looks like the User Defined Error is a good thing.  That started for me on March 26th and the interview letter is dated 2 weeks after that.  So, I'm guessing that others here should soon be receiving their interview letters too.
 
I'm kind of shocked that it has arrived already, interview will be just over 3 months from receipt date.  Besides the USCIS error, there are no updates on our case on either USCIS's site or DHS's site.  Now we've got 3 weeks to pull the rest of the required documents together.  And now the nerves kick in.

finally, my case status has changed to
We are producing your card and will mail it to you
i hope this card comes in the mail quick.. i'm tired of sitting at home doing absolutely nothing. 127 days so far. This has been a long ride. and i expect the interview scheduling to be longer.

updates in our case:
I-485  
NOA1 - Nov 27th
biometrics - Dec 26th
new card being produced (no interview!!!) - April 12
case is approved  - April 13
NOA2 notice in our mail - April 16
GC sent  - April 17
GC in our mailbox  - April 19th

Got a similar call to from my congressman’s office. Waiting for the tracker to change. My lawyer will call in though to confirm today. 

Well just received a call from our Congressman's office and we are approved for EAD and AP, cards being produced as stated on the USCIS app. So happy today!!!!
 

Don't listen to negative people.  Almost any job is a good job, especially when you want some income and want to build a job history in the U.S.  And certainly if it's close to where you live.
 
Call the person who interviewed you and respectfully say that you have some follow-up questions.  Then ask about what concerns you.

No email notification, but checked the status and the ead card is being processed! Yay! 

Still in validation error. No interview letter yet. Not expecting it for another month or so though (judging from Jan filers). 

Oh wow just checked my case tracker two min ago and nothing but checked again and my ead is being produced !!!
 

Just got an email saying EAD is approved and card is being produced.  Yay!  Nothing about AP and no status update messages about AP yet but I suspect it'll come soon.  

I checked my EAD case status today. It updated to "Biometrics check was completed on April 8"  .hopefully soon I will get my work permit.

I just received the same call back from USCIS and the lady (IO) says the error is beyond their control but  my case is being prepared to be scheduled for an interview
