N400 approved. Same day oath ceremony. This website has been such a wealth of information. My immigration journey has officially ended. God bless the US of A.

Yesterday completed our path through immigration and citizenship.  Interview was scheduled for 1:00pm, called in at 1:20pm, finished at 1:35pm.  The interviewer was straight and to the point, started by first completing the civics questions and stopped after the 6th (for anyone curious questions were:  What does the constitution do?, What is one thing Benjamin Franklin is known for?,  When was the constitution written?, Name one American Indian tribe in the United States., Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?, and There were 13 original states.  Name three.), then some of the yes/no questions, updates to employment and travel history, then the reading portion (What month is Columbus Day?), then the written portion (Washington D.C. is the capital), then a quick wrap up and done.  Was told to come back at 2:45pm for a Same Day Oath Ceremony, which didn't take place until about 3:15, Certificate of Naturalization received and process now complete.

Finally got my interview date today that they scheduled on Friday. New interview date will be Valentine’s Day 😊… 

My wish is to you get your interview letter asap.

Finally I received an update that my Oath Ceremony notice is mailed. On the notice the date for my ceremony  take place on 7th Jan 2022. So I am almost end of this N400 journey.

I filed end of March online and my interview was scheduled today, December 2nd at Charlotte NC at 940 AM.  The interview lasted for about 20 minutes and the immigration officer was friendly and kind. He went over the questions in the application form and went over quickly the questions that has yes or no answers. It is very important to pay attention because the questions can be tricky.  
 
Questions that were asked. I don't remember the exact wordings.
1. Who signs the bill? 
2. If the president can no longer serve, who will become the president?
3. If both president and vice president can no longer serve, who will become the president?
4. What are the 2 major political parties?
5. Who is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?
6. What nationalities were taken to the US as slaves?
 
He told me, congratulations you passed and if I want to come back for the oath taking at 230pm, it is a same-day oath if you choose to.
 
My immigration journey officially ended today and truly grateful for the opportunity! 
 
 

Just checked my status and its says...   December 2, 2021 Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled and we will mail you a letter with date, time and place.

Had a combo interview today at 8AM, 9AM i was out and approved for both, didn't even have to show any documents.  
Status changed immediately.

Thanks! Good luck with your interview! I would say "don't be nervous" but of course it isn't as simple as that. I was nervous as hell. You will do great. Others have said this at length, but they aren't expecting perfection, just honesty. Hell, I'm a native english speaker and struggled to write the damn sentence with a stylus on a vertically mounted iPad. Let me know if you have any questions.

I passed my interview this morning at the Chicago field office. My interviewing officer was very nice. I brought every document I could think of, but was only asked to provide the lease for an apartment I moved into while my application was pending. Also provided the basics like ID, green card, passport, and interview letter as well as two recent passport quality photos. We started with the civics questions, then reading/writing, and finally the yes or no questions. I had a couple of recent international trips that we updated as well. 
 
Civics Q&A
1. Who is in charge of the executive branch? - President
2. Who vetoes bills? - President
3. Where is the statue of liberty? - New York Harbor 
4. What are two rights of everyone living in the United States? - Freedom of speech and the right to bear arms
5. Why did the colonists fight the British? - Because they didn't have self government
 
Timeline
- March 6, 2021 - Application received 
- March 11, 2021 - Biometrics waived 
- October 1, 2021 - Interview was scheduled
- November 10, 2021 - Interview
- November 10, 2021 - Oath ceremony will be scheduled 
 
I applied under the 3 year rule. 

Yesterday I got notified that my case was scheduled for interview. Today I got another update that said it needed my attention. So I logged into the app and went to documents. My interview date is scheduled for December 1 @1:15 pm in Charleston SC. 

I wouldn't worry too much about these estimated timelines, Greg. My Estimated Completion shows 13 Months but my interview is in a few weeks. Ignore the Approximate timelines, they are worthless.

N400 filed March 6, 2021. Received a notification for interview first week of May  and an interview appointment for June 9, 2021 and got approved! 4years of residency. I did not expected it to be that fast. 

Today was my interview and I passed, had my oath ceremony done on site (buffalo field office) I am a citizen!!!!!!!!
 
I can't remember all the questions but here are the ones I do remember:
Who is the supreme court justice (I failed this one)
 
What happened on 9/11
 
What's the economic system in us
 
What party is the current president of the us 
 
Who is the speaker of the house of rep
 
How many amendments does the constitution have
 
The last one I can't remember for the life of me lol , they asked me a few questions about me and my husband and I got approved!!!

We just received the Documentarily Qualified message for Aira that we weren't expecting until June 4!  All of us are approved to be sent to the Embassy now.  What a difference a day makes.

Interview was done today and kids were approved without even asking them any questions.
All I was asked was for copies of my w2 but I told them I had the tax transcript and he said "that's even better".
