  1. Good question. Part of me thinks this could just be a matter of rattling the right cages. Do any of your local news stations have a consumer advocate/investigator? Maybe that seems far-fetched, but anything that can draw attention to his case is worth a try!
  2. Daisy, what has your senator/rep been able to do? Any chance to escalate it within that office (i.e. above the staffer who usually handles such requests)? Mr. Daisy is a USC, correct? Because this situation is nothing if not urgent for the health and well-being of a USC.
  3. At the border? Could this work?
  4. Does he plan to disclose the arrest on the I-129F? "Expunged" does not mean USCIS/DOS will not have access to records. You can of course include any supporting documentation you wish to, but USCIS will also run their own background checks, including FBI and state police.
  5. Yes, much later. The petition will take up to 15 months to process, possibly more with a felony background. The USC needs to be the one to submit the petition. Also, hopefully you realize that you can visit on the VWP (subject to CBP), but you can’t just come and live in the U.S. during the process.
  6. Yes. If he tries to omit them as household members, it will come back to bite him when it comes time for him to sponsor them.
  7. No. There is no “invite” to visit. Like anyone else, she can apply for a visitor visa. Approval chance is low.
  8. What is wrong with his address? Why did he not have a reliable address when submitting forms initially?
  9. There is no way to know. Males from MENA countries often get extra vetting, plus Morocco is a very high fraud consulate.
  10. Immigrating without some temporary separation is very unlikely. One thing you should really listen to in this thread: Montreal is notoriously strict when it comes to domicile. His being up to date on filing federal income taxes is great, but it won't be enough.
  11. Correct, your fiancé will not be able to immigrate to the U.S. by the end of February.
  12. What does it say for place on your marriage certificate?
  13. Almost sounds like she's planning to immigrate......? If so, do it the right way and petition her for an immigrant visa.
  14. Not suspicious. They already suspect immigrant intent, so it will simply be denied.
  15. Very unlikely she would get a B visa. Especially if you plan to offer her illegal employment as an "assistant."
  16. The USC spouse needs to ask a tax professional whether she is eligible to file as HOH. My guess: no.
  17. As long as you were truthful at CBP about your intention, you should be fine.
  18. What is your visa type? The more info you give about your situation, the better the feedback you'll get.
  19. So he went into the N400 process, blissfully unaware that he has to be up to date on his taxes?
  20. She will not need an interpreter for an interview in her native country.
  21. Can you get to Vegas ? There is a VisaJourney member who performs free weddings in Vegas for fellow members.
