I had to be present for my husbands green card interview. They just asked us questions about our relationship. Really painless but still it happened.

I think it all depends on the case load and processing times of the local office. I was reviewing the AOS timelines for my local office and takes nearly a year for a green card.

We didn't submit an I 693 form and my husband didn't receive a DS 3025 when he went for his medical. I've been researching other threads and it seems like the original DS 3025 was included in the sealed envelope that was handed over at the Point of Entry. He had his medical in January and we included photocopies of his vaccination booklet.

Hi Everyone

My husband and I were married June 3rd. We sent our AOS packet on Monday 6/19 and it just arrived today 6/21. Hope our process and everyone else's aos process goes smoothly.

The handwritten forms are legible but since it's preferred we will go back and fill them electronically. Just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the info  

We are putting my husband's AOS packet together. He has filled everything out by hand and signed it in black ink, however I've seen some post saying it must be filled out electronically. Is this true? Does it matter?

No, He could not schedule at the embassy. We had to schedule online. The following thread was me:

My fiancé will be here in a week. What can I do to make his move/transition easier. 

I'm most worried about him being bored all day while I'm at work. Any ideas of what he can do to keep busy until he is allowed to work or go to school?

We recieved the instruction packet.

it was sent the day after (Jan 31) their last response to my last email regarding how to schedule. I'm glad we went ahead and scheduled anyway. 

It isn't anything case specific. Just information on how to schedule and what to bring to the interview and FAQs 

What is the best way to organize paperwork for the visa interview. Originally I was going to put everything in page protectors within a binder but was told that may be too much of a hassle for the CO to go through. I was also thinking an accordion folder could be useful or should we compile all the papers together separated by paper clips?

Once the 129 F is completed he can mail it to:

Afterwards you wait til it is approved. Once approved the petition will be sent to the NVC then forwarded to the embassy. Do some research before starting. Visa journey has some great guides that you can use as resources

That information applies to immigrant visas. Not the K1 visa. You should be receiving a letter from the embassy instructing you on how to schedule your interview.
