I just saw someone post that they received their NVC Case# today and their NOA2 date was Sept 16. I'm calling to see if ours is there now

Chantel acts like a spoiled brat, I'm sure mommy and daddy are paying for her apartment. No mention of her working. That she couldn't understand why Pedro was upset with her from the club? She said when i was in the DR we went out to clubs all the time, Pedro knows i like to party. Uhh you were on vacation then, time to put your big girl pants on and act like an adult. Stop lying.

5 days in Morroco and Azan and Nicole are fighting, no surprise seeing as she didnt know where Morroco was. She needs to go home and forgot about Azan. They are to different and even tho she "claims" she respects and understand his culture, she doesn't. Otherwise she wouldnt be crying all the time that he wont hug her or hold her hand. I think she was thinking she would go over and have all the fun she wants, ie sex, surprise lol

Cant even think where to begin with Jorge.........

I also wonder who's sponsoring Pedro. With Chantelle being in school and living with her parents I assume she needed a co sponsor for the affidavit. If her parents are sponsoring him she shouldn't lie if they are footing the bill.

I'm thinking that about Nicole. We've had 4 episodes already and she's not even filed the I-129F yet. Not many episodes left to fit in the entire process, arrival, marriage, etc. I have been reading her tweets on Twitter but she gives very little away. Just says "wait till the final episode".

Chantel irritates me. I don't understand why the need to lie to her parents. She's 25 or so and lives in a free country. She doesn't need her parents' consent or approval for anything. When I was 25 I'd finished university, moved overseas, got a job, was living alone in an apartment in a foreign country, paying bills, etc. At 25 my mother was married with 4 children. I could understand it if she was 17 and wanting to get married. But she's a grown woman.

I agree. If she feels the need to lie to her parents at 25 then maybe she's not quite ready for marriage

Chantelle's storyline makes me cringe. I learned the hard not to lie about anything but to lie about the visa is making me scream internally. I told my family the truth from the beginning of my relationship. My mother still isn't on board but at least they know. It's gonna be a lot worse when they find out.

Edit: this whole show is cringeworthy but I can't stop watching.

It's also frustrating how this process is portrayed.

Has anyone seen this show, 90 day fiancé? I'm watching for the first time now and I don't know what to think about. Seems interesting but seems very sensationalized. What are your thoughts?

Received my NVC number on the 28th. NOA2 date was 9/14

That's great. I just called again still no NVC case#. NOA2 was Sept 15. Hopefully soon.

I've seen alot of UK applicants get their case numbers rather quickly.

Any NVC updates?

I saw on my NOA2 that there is an expiration date of 1/14/2017. Does this mean we have to have an interview by this date?

My fiance and I are planning our wedding for next June. Yay! I was reading through the requirements for marriage license in the state we are getting married and he needs a ss# prior to use getting a valid marriage license (according to the state of Massachusetts). Does anyone know the process of getting the social security number or if this can be done prior to us getting married. Any advice/knowledge on social security numbers would be welcome. Thanks!

It's the same for NC I read that instead you have to bring something notarized but I can't remember what. I'm sure if you call the magistrates office they can tell you exactly what you need since your fiancé doesn't have a SS# yet

That's great. Hopefully soon. I called twice once in the morning and once in the evening. My NOA2 was Sept 15 but I have a feeling the cases are received based on something other than NOA2. Maybe by country or NOA1 date. Idk. Just a thought.

I believe a wet signature(original copy) is needed. I had my fiancé to sign and mail to me via FedEx. It showed up in 3 days.

I filled out a g-1145(e-notification form) and sent it in with the petition. So i got my NOA1 via email then a week letter I received the paper notification which had the NOA1 date in the top right corner.

My fiancée she called NVC last night and they told her they had received it.

Well that's good. I called this morning and nothing was in the system for me. We got our NOA2 Sept 15. I guess I'm too early. I'll continue to wait patiently.

So now our petition made it to the NVC. Will call tonight to see if they have a case number assigned to it yet.

How did you find out it was at NVC?

Do 2 G325a(1 for petitioner and 1 for fiancé)now and send it with the petition. All the information is in the instructions for th I129f petition on the USCIS website.

I would just submit all pages. That is what I did.

Has anyone approved heard from NVC yet?

if you're doing k1, you better not talk about any ring during the interview. They will send you back to go do cr1. 3 of my friends were sent back to go do the proper petition. They consider engagement, knocking and both family meeting as marriage. Maybe you might meet a good consular but if I were you,I wouldn't.

Aw really? We didn't have a traditional engagement or anything. He just proposed to me at dinner when I last visited.

For the petition

I separated documents with paper clips and labeled with sticky notes. That seemed to be fine

For the interview we've bought 2 binders with sheet protectors and dividers.
