The I 129F petition fee is $340. You should send the check or money order with the packet.
K1 visa application fee is $265. You should look at Embassy specific topics to see where/how to pay it.
I'm not sure what fee cost $165

I'm a little jealous of Nicole's desert camping trip. It looks like it would be a lovely experience. *adding to my bucket list*
Chantal waited way too long to tell her parents. I worry that Pedro is gonna have to go back to DR. If I were Pedro I would have spilled the beans by now.
I couldn't stop laughing as he was 'playing dumb' when he was working out with her Dad. It's not fair that she put him in that position. .
Is there a separate thread for the Happily Ever after spin off?
I never saw the season with Mohammed and Danielle but it seems like craziness.

Congrats! How long did it take for the Noa2 hard copy to come in the mail? My fiancé hasn't received it yet. He also said he hasn't received an email. We found out we were approved via the USCIS app. We found out on September 20 by the way.
It took about one week (around 5 business days) to get the NOA2 hard copy.

In about 10 days, if you haven't heard from the NVC (they supposedly send a letter), start calling the NVC. The number is 603.334.0700. You'll be calling for option #3- check if they've received your mail. It took 18 days for me to get my case number from the NVC.
Aw really... I've been dialing option 7. lol

I'm guessing those of us on VJ who actually know about the k-1 process, and maybe a handful of others.
After all, it's a "reality" show on TLC. 2 strikes against, none for.
I just googled it and I read it's an average of 1.5 million

I contacted NVC yesterday and still not received. I am planning to just wait and call on Friday. Have you received any good news yet?
Yes. I called yesterday and our petition arrived at the NVC but no case# yet

Not the website, but text message notification should come through if you filled that out.
I spoke to someone from USCIS and they said no other communications are gonna come from them. Next I should hear from NVC soon

I was going to call the USCIS later, if you don't mind me asking. What number did you use when you called the USCIS?
Of course.
I called the customer service number(800) 375-5283.
They escalated my call and the have a callback system so hopefully they truly contact me by the end of the day.

I was approved on the same day. I have been told as well that they have not received my case yet either. They continue to tell me different things depending on who I talk to.
One just said we don't have it yet. One told me it takes 6 weeks call back in two weeks. Another agent told me that it should be there by now and its strange that they don't have it. She told me to call every Friday.
It really seems to be luck of the draw when you call the NVC. We may be in the same boat. Just keep trying!
Yea its really strange. I'm just getting the run around. I called again and was told to contact USCIS to see when they forwarded my petition. I called and they said they'll call me back.

I called again and still no number. Does anyone else NOA2 say petition approved and forwarded to listed consulate. She told me I should be contacting the consulate or USCIS and not them.
I just called USCIS and was told that my petition is approved and to follow direction on the notice.

First is this the correct number (603) 334-0700?
I called for my case number and was told that it wasn't there and she had me to read the first paragraph of my NOA2 which states the my petition was approved and forearded to the listed consulate.
For one. There is no listed consulate. She said based on my notice I need to call consulate because my case didn't go to the NVC.
I'm really confused because everyone told me all cases go through NVC first.
I'm wondering if I'm call I get the wrong number or doing something wrong. Has this happened to anyone else

I got an alert on someone that I am following here. They received their NVC Case # today. They have an NOA2 date of September 21.

I just saw someone post that they received their NVC Case# today and their NOA2 date was Sept 16. I'm calling to see if ours is there now
I got through and it's still not there. :/ NOA2 Sept 15
