Maagiclady got a reaction from Florence & Jos in I130 November 2016 filers
Have any November filers received their NOA2 approval from USCIS and been sent to NVC? How long have you been waiting at NVC for your case number?

If he is still in the military you can try to contact his commanding officer for assistance.

If you have to ask....
C'mon wake up...and read what you posted.
You already know the answer and want confirmation.

Maagiclady reacted to Chewbacca in DS-261 Online Form
I believe that they are asking if anybody helped the person who filled the form. The agent is the person who will receive communication from the NVC about the case. So if you are the petitioner, and the agent, you need to say no (if nobody helped you to fill out the form) and you sign.

If am not mistaken, I thought only the petitioner could do such a thing and would they not have to provide not only name but receipt number? Am I saying/asking here!!

Maagiclady reacted to Penguin_ie in Sponsor problem - other options
Yes it is current and ongoing income that counts, so if she can document it and add a letter from the employer that the job is stable and long term, she should be fine to sponsor alone.

Maagiclady reacted to Louie1988 in Sponsor problem - other options
Yes, it is, but she works for just 6 months, so her w2 doesn't show enough to be a sponsor, but if you calculate the same payment for 12 months it will be enough to sponsor. Thanks.

I believe that a letter from work plus recent paychecks can attest to her current income, if it's over the poverty guidelines

Hey all.
The last i-129F November filing thread went past 200 pages and was closed by the admin.
I am creating a new thread, so the community can still be in touch and help out each other

Hi Everyone,
I've been following this thread since early December and have finally decided to comment. I have a 11/21 NOA1 date and I'm just here patiently waiting like you all, but I must say that this thread has been a great resource for me and also extremely encouraging.
I live in a state away from most of my family and my other half is thousands of miles away, so reading the daily post have been my "support".
You guys are an amazing group and I wish you all success and greatness in your upcoming nuptials.
xoxo

Maybe it is all of the people who file on their own who are NOT ON VJ, so they make many errors ! This site is a Godsend :-)

The adjudicators are audited once a month. That is why you sometimes see cases approved and then rejected. Fresher adjudicators (employed under one year) tend to send out more RFE's than the veterans. Audits penalize adjudicators on inaccuracy and doubles (those requiring supervisor approval) so it better to send out an RFE than be penalized. Anyone with a criminal history, multiple k1 petitions, and more than three hits on any of the databases checked require a supervisor and manager approval to approve the case. The workers are graded on how many are worked based on the number of people reviewed so they like working cases with families or kids because they get more points for the day that way and can therefore take their time on some of the harder cases. Stats on all the teams and members are sent out once a week and once a month.
Remember adjudicators only job is to detect fraud. They will and can request any relevant information they feel helps the petition meets the criteria for not being fraudulent. I hope this helps in some way.

Today's stats for Nov 14th NOA1 fillers:
Approved: 18
RFE: 25
Mixed results.. this time a lot of RFEs, but 40+ cases were touched today (thank God that my case is one of those 18 approved)

I made the same error. I did not include my husband's children because they are adults in the definition of child according to immigration was under 21. I spoke to an attorney and he told me to Simply write a letter explaining the mistake and what the correction should be and where on the form. Explain why you made the mistake. And then mail the letter certified to NVC. Include your case number of course and your beneficiaries name.

I know i told all of you before that I am a November I-130 , but have been following this thread instead because it is active and filed with you all in a similar boat of waiting for NOA2 and getting closer to your loved ones and marriage.
I am already married and was waiting along with you.
TODAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL OF APPROVAL FOR MY NOA2 !!
I am hoping this week to see the same announcement from the majority of you ESPECIALLY JIM ??
