But don't you get it? These ARE extenuating circumstances, OP is Canadian, and has legally studied, worked and visited the US before... Plus, he's been waiting for 7 months! 7 MONTHS! Never mind that he already has EAD and AP, he wants his green card, and he wants it NOW!

And don't you get that he's not doing this for himself? He's doing this for the thousands waiting around the world. He is fighting the good fight for all of us. He is Ghandi, MLK, the Dalai Lama, and Mother Teresa all in one, fighting against the injustice that are USCIS processing times. Everybody is disagreeing with him because he's an iconoclast, he's a Steve Jobs, a Bill Gates; he's here to change the world for better. You just won't get it.

I hereby speak for many, many other Americans when I say that I don't need a lesson on the responsibities of a US Senator.  Like in a court case, you have no standing until you can show evidence of being damaged.  You are well within normal processing times.  Therefore, your complaint will likely result in a form letter......but it is certainly the right of every constituent to contact his/her representatives.........and I join you in your concern that processing times are slow.  This painful process resulted in a year apart for my wife and me...

    a) You're well within normal legacy waiting times (let alone current ones).
    b) You already have EAD and AP, meaning that you are not suffering from any inconveniences due to the process.
    c) You have written an obnoxious, condescending letter that wreaks of entitlement, and plan to send it as if it was written by your citizen spouse, essentially attempting to utilize her privileges as your own.

To me, like to most people in the thread, you sound entitled and grandiose.

Keep it real, take advantage of your EAD by getting a job, and wait in line like everybody else.

    Beloved VisaJourney community,

I was just approved on the spot at my AoS interview. It took almost exactly a whole year from the moment of filing, but the silver lining is that we passed our two-year anniversary and thus received the permanent green card. I had no RFE's, nor anything alike.

    The timeline is as follows:

    2016:
May 31st: submitted packet with concurrent I-130, I-485, and I-765 to National Benefits Center.
    June 1st: packet was delivered.
June 9th: checks cashed and e-notifications received. None of the tracking numbers not working.
June 13th: received NOAs in the mail, with priority date June 1st.
June 25th: received NOA for biometrics appointment sheduled for July 7th.
June 27th: showed up for biometrics and did walk-in.
July 26th: tracking numbers started working.
August 15th: submittedservice request for EAD pending for over 75 days.
August 21st: submitted service request for change of address.
August 30th: submitted service request for EAD pending for over 90 days.
September 19th: resubmitted first service request for EAD pending for 110 days.
September 20th: I-765 approved and EAD produced.

    2017:
March 3th: submitted I-131 package to National Benefits Center.
March 13th: submitted service request for I-485, since the processing times showed that my office was already processing cases received after my submission date.
    March 15th: received e-notification for I-131.
March 29th: submitted service request for I-130.
April 3rd: scheduled infopass appointment for pending I-485.
April 10th: I-131 approved and produced.
April 15th: received approval notice for I-131.
April 17th: received Advance Parole Document.
April 17th: attended infopass appointment and was told my case had just passed background checks and was soon to be scheduled for an interview.
April 20th: submitted 30-day-no-response service request for prior I-485 service request.
April 20th: interview scheduled for May 25th.
May 25th: interview and approved on the spot.

I agree with him, you are lazy - or mentally impaired perhaps.
    Here's your timeline:
You come to the forum, open a new Topic for June filers when there was already one.
You go to the June filer topic, and then post a bunch of questions that can easily be answered just by doing a little research.
People don't respond to your questions because it's obvious that you haven't done your research, so you post the same questions again and again.
Then when people tell you that you can respond to your own questions by doing research, you tell them that it would have been easier for them to respond to your questions.
You are not only a non-contributing member of the forum, but you're also complainful and annoying. Shut up already.
