1. He feels used and believes she scammed him by not delivering on her promises.
2. Maybe she feels used and believes she was scammed because he didn't deliver on his promises, and in turn, she dumped his @$$.

So in essence, a case that VAWA was made for. It grosses me out as a mother and the mother of a part Filipino daughter that there are creeps preying on women in poverty because they know they are desperate.

It isn't a matter of time. I suspect your approach is wrong here. Why the Philippines? What are you looking for in a wife? Why are you so desperate to have one that you can easily move from one foreign woman to the next and to another? They are freaking human beings not a new brand of cheese that you are trying.
I think you've really got to ask yourself what is going on in your own life that is making you such an easy target and maybe just work on being happy being single for a while.

I had my daughter at 22 I'm now 30 and she just turned 8 last month. I love this man and want my family to welcome him. If they can't then I will not stay around them. He loves me, my daughter and even my own "sister" has said nobody would want me because I'm fat. He doesn't care that I'm not a size two he loves me just as I am. Because I'm under 5ft tall I will always look bigger than I am.

We. Need to speak life into all of our cases. Be positive and support each other. We've all come this far it will get better.

I agree with you, they were attacking her. This is a support group, and we all need to work together to help each other, some can be so rude for no reason. Just have to pray for people, and hope that they can be nicer... What happened to TREATING PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED...

If they both knowingly went into this for her to just get her paperwork they're both wrong.... No one has the right to talk down on her if that were the case, we are all human.... You will not be notified when the adjudicator picks up your file to go over your case. It does not take long once they open your file. You will be notified of an RFE, approval or denial.

Well our long, long, long awaited day has finally come! My fiancé received his K1 visa and had POE yesterday. I flew to Jamaica to bring him here. It was a hectic emotional trip running around getting him all packed up and visiting family and friends to say goodbye. Everything with POE went great and it was bittersweet emotional day.
Today is his first full day in USA and also my birthday!! What an amazing birthday present! We are celebrating by going to a reggae show in Chicago with friends who don't even know he's here yet! Can't wait to surprise them!
