  3. I-129F is a non-immigrant petition. I would answer "No".
  4. Should be Federally prosecuted for violating the rights of state citizens. "In the end, this isn't actually about stopping the shooting of children because people who shoot children do not follow gun laws. Rather, this is about Grisham trying to punish her adversaries in response to tragedies they have nothing to do with."
  5. The lawyer won't pay the consequences for his/her bad advice...you will. At some point, this is going to blow up....
  6. I'm not sure why I-129fs have not been converted to an electronic online version yet. So little is required as evidence for a fiance petition. Until online filing is possible, I guess there will be no online payment.
  7. Less chance of charge being declined, check can be stopped if needed (package could get lost). Just my opinion.
  8. Correct, although I recommend a personal check.
  9. To clarify, you have decided to do the K-1 route instead of marriage and a spousal visa?
  10. Is she still coming to visit soon? Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation. K-1 More expensive than CR-1 Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork) Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 6-8 months) Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 6-8 months) Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed. A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years. Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises. CR-1/IR-1 Less expensive than K-1 No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required. Spouse can immediately travel outside the US Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival. Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport. Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US. The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US. A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises.
  11. I thought you were going to marry and file an I-130.
  12. Trump: Build a big, beautiful wall. Dems: Nope! We will block you. Trump: Remain in Mexico. Dems: Nope! Remain in the states. Lunacy!!!!
  13. Yes, you are required to notify USCIS of address changes within 10 days of moving. An AR-11 can be filed online or by mailing.
  14. As far as an I-130, itself, is concerned, I see no issues. But, you can file an I-130 for her right now as an F2a visa classification. Once you naturalize, that becomes a CR-1 visa classification. What she CANNOT do is to enter the US as a visitor with the intent to stay and adjust status inside the US.
  15. Yet, Adams calls Abbott a "madman in Texas" !!! LOL!!!!! The "mad man" lives in the White House. Leftists act on "feel good" emotions with absolutely no thought to the consequences. New York deserves what they voted for.
  16. Tourist visas are intended for visits....not for living in the US.
  17. Just when you think the Biden administration couldn't possibly get any more insane, they pull this out of their hat? This will not stand.
  18. Eric Adams has the gall to say this was started by Trump and Abbott? Biden would rather keep illegals in Texas rather than Mexico? These people are insane.
  19. When did you file the I-485? Where was she when the I-485 was filed?
  20. Yes. After entry into the US, CBP will stamp (endorse) his immigrant visa. The endorsed visa becomes a full-fledged Green Card for a year or until the plastic one arrives.

  22. That is possible. Personally, I think your evidence is already fine for the I-130. However, I would add her to the lease immediately upon arrival in the US. Good luck.
