    Here is the October 2023 Visa Bulletin data. As you can see, their F2B priority dates are not yet current. Even F2A category would not be current yet. Unfortunately, there is no provision for expediting visa number availability.

    You are confusing the procedures for an immigrant visa with a non-immigrant visa (K-1). K-1s do not need an invoice number. There are no CEAC fees for a K-1. Unless this is an expedited case, the consulate, generally, does not assign interview dates.

    A lot can change in the next year. Your I-130 was sent just a week ago. This process is stressful. Patience is key. "Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between August 9, 2024 and August 11, 2024*."

    Earlier this year, wife's passport took 7 weeks (with expedite and 1 day shipping). The DOS estimate was exactly correct. Hopefully, the turn-around times have gotten better.

    "Case is being actively reviewed" is virtually meaningless. It could mean a decision is pending in days, weeks, or months. Your I-130 was sent 1 week ago.
