The Green Card and the extension letter are proof of status. After the 18-month extension date, you are still a LPR. If you want to travel internationally or work for different employer after that date you can request ADIT stamp: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-11-part-b-chapter-2 "LPRs may obtain an ADIT stamp from the local field office by first calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 to schedule an appointment (TTY for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability: 1-800-767-1833). ADIT stamps may only be placed on Form I-94 (with photo) or an unexpired passport."

Your current employer shouldn't request new documents: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/complete-correct-form-i-9/completing-section-3-reverification-and-rehires
    Employers should not reverify:
U.S. citizens and noncitizen nationals Lawful permanent residents who presented a Form I-551, Permanent Resident or Alien Registration Receipt card for Section 2. This includes conditional residents. List B documents

Hurry up and wait is the game we play, seems every single moment is a blessing belayed.

Never let it bring u down, never lose the thought,
that the day will come we reap rewards of struggles that were fought.

When I feel down,  i try to remember to count my blessings not my burdens..
Always, I find, more blessings than burdens.
This has yet to lift my spirits when I needed it.

Hope someone else may find it lifts theirs as well..

    Best wishes for All .

I think you can still bring your current medicals before having to redo it. Actually in my experience, the interviewing officer asked me whether I thought I'd need to redo mine, and I quoted the interview letter's instructions (lol), and she went with that. She did say after verbally approving my case that she would double check about the medicals and let us know if we'd have to do anything.
Otherwise, if you're really worried you can call the USCIS customer service number. I can't remember all the directories but somewhere in this forum there's good info as to what you dial to reach an actual person!

    Fingers crossed for you!

So we went to the interview yesterday (11/15) and was approved unofficially! Basically the officer said she believed that our marriage is bona fide and I'm eligible for getting a green card. She handed us a letter saying our case is being held for review (which she said was their standard procedure). When we got home, the online tracker changed to "New Card Being Produced" 😍. Can't wait to receive the card, and be done with this at least for the next 1.5 years (until ROC!).
All the very best to fellow applicants!!!

As noted in my signature, the online status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for Interview" on 08/08. However even as at today the status still hasn't changed, and I haven't received any text/email update regarding the interview date. I just happened to find the letter in the mail. I don't think the online tracker is very reliable.

RoC means Removing Conditions on green card. It's a process that you'll have to go through about 1 year and 9 months after you receive your 2 year green card. AoS is not the last step of this journey.

RoC means new petition, new fee, new proofs of relationship - currently it takes about 15 months for approval and when it's approved, you'll receive a 10 year green card.

    Guides are available on forum.

Hi guys. I just had my interview. It was scheduled for 8:45 and we got there at 8:15. Pittsburgh office
they called our name at 8:40 and we stayed in the room til 9. Very very nice lady, she asked a few questions from the form to me and then some to my husband, the yes or no questions.

then she asked about our story but it was more like a chat. She asked how we met, when we decided to get married, how is my relationship with their kids, said that she loves our wedding bands.
I gave her his most recent taxes, bank statements, helth insurance card copies and some pics, she didnt keep the pics tho.
she said it was all good and she would have to review it, she told us if everything was ok it would be approved this afternoon and I would get the card in a few weeks.

We left an hour ago and the app already updated for "new card is being produced"

very good experience at pittsburgh office, they are nice and fast.

ps: good luck to all the march filers still waiting!

    NOA1: March 19
    Biometrics: March 27

We also got our 485 'Ready for Interview' notification today.  Interestingly, the updates were only on the USCIS case tracker, not on the new DHS site.

MyUSCIS is currently still showing "Card is being Produced"  for EAD and "Case Received" for AP, and it's been like that for a week.

Thanks for sharing! I haven't got the card yet. My EAD case status just changed last week into "Card Being Produced". So most likely these are NOA letters then..(so much for wishful thinking that 1 could be an interview notice haha, oh well).

Thanks for sharing! I guess I'll find out in a few hours..I was just being too excited and impatient

First you get two NOA letters, one for EAD and one for AP and then the card unless you already got them... My EAD card did not show up on the Informed Delivery, neither under letters nor packages.

It took FOREVER to actually start to hear anything, was over the 5 month mark in regards to my EAD/AP. I am wondering if anyone in this form has had there interview and could let me know what items they brought and how it went or if someone can let me know what thred to follow to find this information. I appreciate any help  . If anyone has any questions let me know, hang in there everyone
