  1. Thanks
hsa12390 got a reaction from K@S in Correlation between senator enquiry and USCIS effort
Don't want to get your hopes up, but I reached out to several senators and congressmen when my husband's I-130 was severely delayed and they made several inquiries. They all told me that their enquiries would not be able to expedite our case, instead it's just to get a status update. However, his embassy interview was (eventually) scheduled in 3 days (which normally takes 2-3 months) and the embassy sent a long a letter saying it's been expedited at congressman's request.
So basically it's impossible to know in advance, but reaching out to them is definitely the right way to go and might even get your case expedited...
Also, i'm in Boston and feel the same way about her (our senator)  you might try Senator Markey and congressman Kennedy. They were the ones who helped us back in 2014

Depends on the office. I filed at Boston mid August and have my interview scheduled for Nov 27th. Boston is quite fast though, all depends on the volume at each office.

    Try the ASPCA.
They should be able to provide you with a list of credible neutralizers in your area

I don't think you get my point, but that is ok. I still do not understand why you think there is nothing wrong and it is totally fair, especially after you got naturalized so quickly, it is ok to be supportive, but I can not change your mind. Be supportive is the advice I can give you.

No need to apologize, just wanted to make you aware that your tone and what you said may be interpreted as disrespectful and insensitive. Personally I would never become a citizen of a country unless I was patriotic, loved that country and wanted to be a contributing member cause I feel it's a slap in the face to everyone else. I wouldn't take for granted an honor and privilege that many seek but is only bestowed upon very few, but hey to each his own

Totally your right but I have to say that attitude is quite shocking given that many of us here have been waiting for years to fulfill our dream of becoming a citizen of this great country. Obviously no one can force you how to feel about it one way or another and it's your right but it's quite frustrating and insulting that someone who wants to get out and doesn't even want to become American goes through the process so quickly and isn't even appreciative

I guess it's always better to be over prepared than underprepared, so I guess he'll just bring all and any evidence. Thanks and will let you all know how it goes!

There were a fair number of states that were going to sue the administration about unconstitutionality of DACA, and Sessions actually said that there is no way they can defend this at all.

The Hysteria that the Left has been putting out since he was elected in November about how he is going to do this or he is going to do that. I hear it ALL THE TIME here in Los Angeles the man didn't he even take office yet and they were "getting ready to fight him". He was not supposed to deport any of the dreamers as soon as he took office AT ALL and stop spreading lies. He clearly stated that he wanted to make it his priority those that are Criminal Illegal Aliens that have been living here with impunity, all the while a large amount of them ALREADY had deportation orders against them. But nobody was taking action and actually deporting them.

I have support for those that actually have taken the time, money, and patience to file for and get approved for DACA. But what I don't have support are those that here and eligible but do not want to file for DACA at all also those that here and are Criminals.

Maybe that's how it works in Nigeria, but we do not have dictatorships in America. A president does not get to unilaterally pass a law because he can not pass it through the proper procedures. Remember that thought when someone that you do not agree with starts going crazy with their pen and passing anything that they can't get through congress. Did Trump use an executive order when ACA wasn't repealed? Will you be happy if he passes his tax reform by executive order if the congress doesn't play along? There is a reason for the constitution.

Correct an executive action that was unconstitutional. It would not have made it past the the Supreme Court which gave dreamers a false sense of security.

It needed to be done lawfully and by Congress. Trump just made that happen.
