prenouveau got a reaction from chrissandra in I-751 February 2019 Filers
We had our interview on Tuesday and it was easy! The man who interviewed us was very friendly and told us immediately that since we have a child and sent lots of evidence, he was going to approve us. Didn't ask any questions except to confirm name and address, and get my husband's photo and fingerprints. He took all the additional evidence we brought along, but implied it wasn't needed.
So happy to finally be past this after an almost 2 year wait. Status updated to "card being produced" the following morning.

We got our text message receipt notice on Tuesday and check was cashed yesterday. Case number is VT. It says the number is invalid when I input it online, but it looks like it has taken a while for others to get the status showing online?

Thank you! Wow, that even had a digital version of the denial notice for the I-90. It said what I thought - that they won't replace the card because it will expire in a month.

I figure we’ll wait to get the I-90 denial letter in the mail. If the reason is what I think it is (they don’t replace cards once you’re in the 90-day window) I don’t see a need to go for infopass.

Mailed out our packet today. GC expires 3/22. Good luck, everyone!

Same (package went out yesterday to Dallas via USPS Priority). I think I remember your username from K1! Good luck to you.

prenouveau got a reaction from yuna628 in First visit to the UK after AOS with spouse
Thought I'd post an update in case it will help anyone in future - we went to the Infopass appointment and they let us keep the green card that we filed the I-90 for, and put an I-551 stamp in my husband's passport. We also brought along the letters from USCIS confirming the I-90 was filed. At the UK border, I was not asked anything, my husband said I was his wife and we were visiting family for a week, and that was it. On our return, at Logan airport, they had my husband scan his green card at the machines and it worked, even though we have the pending I-90. Then when we went up to the agent, he looked at the stamp and said that was fine and he didn't need to see the green card, complimented us on "looking young" (haha) and let us through. So I worried way too much about it, but I'm glad we were prepared.

I don't think you CAN book your interview until you've done it, but I don't think it'll hurt to do it twice. Here's the link: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/notification-of-applicant-readiness-form/

There have been some reports on Twitter that green card holders from the listed countries have been denied entry tonight. Whether that's true or not, I guess we will find out in the coming days...feel so sad for all the couples/families affected by this

August 12th here (fingerprint fee received) - if you look in the Case Tracker app, a lot of I-485 cases still say this, from my date and earlier/later. I think they are just still working through them.

I will definitely update you. We booked the medical yesterday and submitted the DS-160 and readiness form. Now waiting for the case to go "in transit." We tried to book an interview just for the heck of it, and got the "not ready" message. From what others have said the soonest available slots are 8/4-8/5 currently.

I couldn't even get out of jury duty for that!

My fiance and I use FB Messenger which is similarly annoying to Google hangouts as far as loading the history. I ended up taking a handful of screen shots from a variety of dates–seems like they wouldn't need to see your entire history. For hangout, I would use the little arrow to bring up the popout window, drag the window as large as you can, and screenshot!

I did the same, for the same reason! Mine's a personal money order from Bank of America so I can trace it, I just have to call the bank. As of this morning it was not cashed, petition was received on 2/27. Was odd to me that it would have been delivered on a Saturday.

OK! Well he requested it online, can't hurt to be over-prepared I guess.
