    Hi guys,

I filed my i751 back in February/March 2019 and to this day I had no updates. I filed divorce back in September 2019 and just received my divorce decree. I want to update uscis of my new status. My questions is: what is the address I should send my documents (copy of my divorce decree and a letter explaining my divorce)

    that is all?

    thanks friends!

Also should I write the paper by hand of on the computer?

Nope. We had no updates at all.

We filed last year in March. Status went to Case Received.

    It didn't change.

We got biometrics waiver letters three times in the mail. Nothing changed on the website.

Then we got a biometrics appointment in the mail a month ago. Still no case update.

We attended biometrics and it went to Fingerprint Review completed.  Stayed like that for a week and then said "Card is Being Produced."

Got my card in the mail last week. NO updates. It still doesn't show a tracking number or even that it was sent.

We did not have an interview.

A big congrats to u guys!

We did not. Some people do - it seems most don't but there is always a possibility and if you get called for an interview, it doesn't necessarily mean that there is something wrong.  I think they randomly screen handfuls of applicants for these.

If you follow your notifications on the USCIS website it's worth noting that you don't get a notice if your interview is waived. They simply don't schedule you for one.  For the biometrics, if they choose to reuse the ones they took for your previous application, you do get a notice in the mail about that.

So basically u never had your status updates to "ready to schedule interview"?

As stated above, probably biometrics (or you may get a waiver if they decide to reuse your previous ones - it varies). Once your current GC expires, you'll need to carry the letter with it if you travel.

Just to keep things realistic, it's quite a long process right now.  We filed last year in March and got our new GC's last week. For the most part though, life just goes on and it's a waiting game as with most things USCIS related.

    Best of luck :)

Did u get an interview for it?

Yesterday I received an email saying that card is under production.

This morning I received another email saying that my case was transferred to another office.

Did happen to anybody here? How long does it take usually in another office?

I was so happy, but my happiness didn't last long.

Congrats! When did you have your interview exactly? Did u have one for the adjustment of status also?

This has to be a glitch right? I mean a good glitch, but not really supposed to have an interview so soon.

I imagine a USCIS pulled a file from the bottom of a pile rather than from the top.

They won't have an interview soon. It just means that their file has been checked and approved and that they are ready to be scheduled for their interview. It does not mean they will necessarily have their interview anytime soon. They still have to interview all the people who have sent their file before them from 2017, 2018 and 2019.

You are asking AOS interview questions (seeking a 2-yr conditional Green Card) of folks that are awaiting ROC adjudication for their 10-yr regular Green Card. Is this correct?

Lately in the AOS forums (K1/K3 and others) people have been talking about a new happening at USCIS where the folks are get waived by the AOS interview. Likely an attempt by USCIS to  lighten the processing load. However, it may also end up increasing the number of folks that have a ROC interview when the time comes.  We had an AOS interview (from hell) at the local USCIS Field Office, but our ROC was approved without interview but after a appropriate RFE response and when they could get around to it.

The current USCIS system seems to be going in slo-mo....

    HTH

Exactly. I did have an interview for my AOS so fingers crossed I won't have one for ROC.

It depends on your location...how many cases in line for an interview etc.

Sorry, I don't understand your question....it is an interview for removal of conditions...currently, we have the temporary green card.

Thank you...you will hear good news soon my friend...hang in there!

Sorry. I meant did any of you guys got the interview to get the temporary green card?

You can inform them now that you are divorcing and that you wish to proceed with a divorce waiver then they will issue you a RFE for the divorce decree if they get to your case before they have it.

You are very early in so you can also wait and then just sent in your divorce decree when you have it. It kind of depends how long the rules are for getting divorced in your state.

    Sorry to hear!

Thank you so much. My husband and I are in good terms despite the decision to separate. He told me that we could still live under the same roof and wait a little longer before officially getting divorce if it will be easier for me and my case. That's why I don't know what to do. For sure I can't move out anyway because do not work and are actively looking for a job.

So USCIS sent my package back, saying the credit card information provided was incorrect, but it was correct.

Sent back my package yesterday, this time with a check!  Let’s see how this goes 2nd time around.

Same thing happened to me and i did the same thing as you and it worked with the check. I know that i wrote the right number of my cc though.

  11. Btw, who had an interview when applied for i485? Personnaly7 i had one and i remember the officer telling me if I had one at that time there is likely that I won't have one for i751.

    Also I found this online:

    For Form I-751 cases received on/after December 10, 2018, USCIS has previously interviewed the I-751 principal petitioner (for example, for an I-485 adjustment of status or I-130 Petition for Alien Relative);
