nope , court or church wedding is fine , they dont care how u do it , just that you did the marriage as the k1 visa requires you do , what most do is do a nice small one , then later do a big one in states or in their fiances/wifes/husbands country

This is another reason to keep a copy of everything you submitted.

Exactly what I'm planning on doing, have a small one with friends and some family at city hall to fulfill visa requirements and then plan for a real 'ceremony' later.

According to the Processing times, its taking about 18-20 days on average. I think your timeline says you received your NOA2 about a week ago? Be patient. You and I should still be reeling at how fast we got through the USCIS. We'll get there.

Here's my 2 cents, and I don't mean this offensively. But you're about to get married. You need to get over those feelings of hating your fiance's ex-spouse. They're not married anymore, you have only your future to look forward to. I don't think you need to know the hot and heavy details of their marriage, but you should know how long they were married for, what led to the divorce (if the divorce was recent, especially), if they have kids, etc. My fiance was just interviewed and he wasn't asked any questions about my previous marriage.

Congrats on the approvals! I think our timing being August filers is a blessing as they seem to be going through quickly. We should all be getting them soon I bet!

Soulstriker,
Thank you for ur quick response and anwers ?
I think I worry too much and lil bit traumatic due to two times tourist visa denial ?, maybe the embassy worried that I will not go back to my country after visit usa because my now fiance is in usa.
Yes i will make sure i will mention in DS-160
And check my embassy whether they need petitioner to join interview or not.
Thanks alot

Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way
