Finally after 28th days from biometric I got an approval email yesterday, no interview . I wish everyone the best, and no I’m not filing for n400. Thanks to all the amazing folks who kept this forum running for a whole year. Congrats to everyone who got approved and to everyone who is wait keep the faith.

Just got a letter to go for biometric the 6/11 ugh thought I was in the clear. Guess us csc filers will be going for biometric more than not. Can someone update my info please. Notice date is 5/24 and bio is 6/11

10 years GC was in mail today. We mailed our package in late May 2018, received by USCIS in Vermont Center on June 7 2018. Never transferred. Approved May 28 2019. No RFE, no interview.

They basically asked how we met,wanted to see the rings,if I met his parents...it was an awesome interview n mind you I was pretty nervous. I really have no clue abt DR so I wish you the best.

Not sure of the cost since I did mine 3yrs ago but she has to bring the funds with her due to the fact that she probably needs vaccines that wasn’t given at a younger age. What I did was to go by my community clinic and check for the ones I didn’t get and had my GP give them to me before I go to Kingston....which turns out to be way more cheaper.  I took over $30.000 Ja dollars with me Incase I had any extra charges.

Same  here Sent 17  they got it @ 21  NoA sent out was 28  Receved  yesterday and Benficary. Name is petitioner name. 

You're not going to listen but here goes anyway.  You cannot work for your husband or anyone until you have authorization to do so legally.  Once you are here you will be taking a job that a US citizen should be entitled to.  Your lawyer is stupid.  Get rid of the lawyer.  You don't need one and this one is leading you astray.  You see you can't work "FOR FREE".  There's really no such a thing.  If you are "helping out" you are providing a service to the company and the company I assume will benefit financially from those "free services" you are providing.  Don't try to bend the rules.  You should do a CR-1 instead.  Then you can legally work within days of arriving in the US.   

Can't get insurance if he is not in the US, but other documents can be generated such as a will, insurance beneficiary documents, added user to credit card maybe.....

Every case is different, and COs look at the total picture.  It is better to be prepared with as many varied pieces of quality evidence as possible....

Well I went through the Jamaican consulate n they didn’t take much of my paperwork’s but they took my pics and my husband documents so not everyone gets a hard time through immigrations,she has a lot of solid proof so if I was her I wouldn’t be worried..everyone case is unique,some ppl only put the stuff they asked for n nothing extra n they are fine.

You’re welcome...I didn’t have a lot but it was good evidence so it’s not the amount but the proof that your relationship is real...good luck on your journey. There is a lot of group chats and forums on here so keep us posted. Am now doing my I-751..am a June filer and we have a group chat abt that as well..just search for whatever stage you are at and the wonderful folks on here will surely help you

No the background check for immigration purposes is different than for a local need.  That is why in the instructions, it says to make sure to state that the background check is needed for immigration.  I am not sure why they are mailing it.  Kingston used to do same day police checks, and now they no longer do that.  

It would be unwise to marry before entering on the K1 visa which requires the visa holder to be SINGLE.
 
Yes, it could be a BIG PROBLEM since the K1 visa holder will be MARRIED in violation of the K1 visa requirements.
 
DON'T DO THIS.  A SIMPLE SEARCH ON VJ WILL TELL YOU WHY THIS IS A BAD HORRIBLE IDEA.

Yay, that's good to know. Our's was delivered to CSC on 6/13 so about a week behind you so hopefully they will be cashing our check next week sometime.
