    They received our package 10/30 and nothing so far. This is ridiculous.

    As @afortunada advised you, please join the December 2018 thread.

     

    But to answer your question it does take 5-10 business days to cash your check.

    There are long delays at the moment so most likely you won't see the letter in 2018.

    It seems that Nebraska has received a ton of I-751s since USCIS started using lock-boxes for ROC applications in October. I would imagine that the actual processing estimate, which is currently listed as 19-20.5 months, will go up quite a bit because that estimate is based on 2 month old data. Luckily we can file N-400 when I-751 is processing. For now I'd feel relieved to have NOA1. 

    Okay, so you are a day ahead of me. 

    I agree with you. Everything slowed down.

    When we applied for I-129f it literally took CSC 30 days to approve our petion, now I see it's over 8-9 months.

    When did they receive your package? Mine was received on 10/30.

     

    Yes, I am sure they will send them out eventually, but it's just no one knows what is going on.

    My guess is that they waived your biometrics and used the old ones on file.

    Sent 10/29, received 10/30, check cashed 11/05.

    When you went to the field office you didn't have you passport stamped? If you are married to a US citizen, that should be enough. Then by the time you complete 3 years of the GC you will be able to apply for citizenship even if you didn't have your conditions removed yet (what might be the case, considering the current processing times).

    My Green Card expires 1/27/19 so they didn't stamp my passport. They told me to come back when my green card has less than 30 days validity.

    Did you try to talk to the tier 2 or even filed a missing mail search request with USPS? https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm

    I know the USPS in my city is not the best, they often deliver letters addressed to our neighbors in our mail box, so I think they are the ones messing up actually. Or you could go the USPS office in your city and talk to the manager, saying you are waiting for an important document.

    I have not talked to a tier 2 officer, but I made an InfoPass and talked to an Immigration officer at my local field office. He said the same thing. NOA 1 was issued but could not tell me if was mailed out and he also said that I should have received by now. We doubled check the address and that was it. 

     

    I did not file a missing mail with USPS. I am registered with Informed delivery and I see the scans of every mail before it is send to my local post office. It was just not sent out. 

    When I changed my address we had to submit the form for my wife (the sponsor) by mail to Nebraska Service Center and received the Notice in 4 business days after they received my case. So I did get mail from LIN before.

    It really depends on who you talk, the rep I was talking to wasn't helpful at all. 

    She just told me that the NOA 1 was sent 11/02 and they don't send out duplicates. 

    I made a service request online and I was told to wait 60 days and if I don't get anything in the mail to contact them again.

    I’m also puzzled because I am trying to submit a request for non delivery of NOA. However, in the section “Which notice was not received?” there is no option that says “receipt notice”. The only options are:”appointment “, “approval”, “denial”, “request for evidence “ and “other”...

    If you call, they will do the same thing you can do online. They will put a service request.

    Choose Other and you can describe what you did not received.

    The stamp is free, I just paid parking :)

     

    You can travel overseas whatsoever with your Expired Green Card and the letter.

    WAC was previously called Western Adjudication Center, hence the WAC abbreviation, known today as California Service Center

    EAC was previously called Eastern Adjudication Center, known today as Vermont Service Center

    LIN - it refers to Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Service Center

    SRC - Southern Regional Center, known today as Texas Service Center
