One question: Do they mail the card with a tracking number or just normal letter?
Priority Mail, with tracking number.
If you haven't registered for Informed Delivery, go and register.
I have seen the package about 6 hours before USCIS updated the case status with the Card was picked up by USPS message.

Congratulations @Everlast
Last night I got into panic mode.
Received notification that the Card arrived at the post office, so since I was in the area I went to the Post Office but I was told i cannot pick the parcel up because it's scheduled for tomorrow's deliveries.
No problem.
At 8 PM got notification that the card WAS DELIVERED AT 12:42 PM. We have cameras at home and I looked no one delivered anything. So freaked out because I really didn't want to pay the replacement fee and wait another 10-12 months for the card to arrive.
Went to the post office this morning and they told me it's going to be delivered today, but could not tell me why the tracking says it was delivered.
Anyways, I got the card today. I had my parents that are visiting from Romania to send me pictures LOL.Will check it out as soon as I get home.

Yes, you are correct. I answered no on the basis that the 5 year period covered farther back than the time at which I entered the US. I couldn’t take a trip outside the US before I moved here. This was only tricky for me because I’m applying in the 3 year spouse rule. I’d been legally resident in the US just over four years at the time of applying. So there was about 10 months or so in the past 5 years that’s irrelevant to the question. I’m not explaining this very well. I hope it makes sense.
@wbeem Makes sense. So do you think I would be safe saying NO to that question?
I makes super sense in my head since the first time I visited, the second time I came on a work and travel program for 4 months and then return back to Romania and 8 MO later I moved (on K-1 visa) to the US.
Same thing with the Address and Employment
Will fill online.

I did. Just left it out. I haven't traveled outside the USA since I entered on a K1 in 2015.
You can't leave the USA before you got here.
If I enter information in there for my 'last trip' which was actually TO the USA not from it, that makes it look like I was gone for months on end. I can't 'leave' the US before I moved here. That was my logic and I figured I will explain this at the interview. I'm pretty sure that the form has omited the 'or 3 if filing under the 3 year rule' in the question there.@wbeem I asked this question an a previous thread but I figured I'd ask you too.
Not sure how to answer the question Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years?
Came on a K1 visa in June 2016 and haven't traveled outside the USA since then.
However I came to the US two times before on a B2 and J1 visa (in 2015). If I add those dates i get 396 days outside the US. - But I was not a LPR back then.
Should I answer NO? My understanding is that you selected no, correct?
Thanks

But the question is formed as you lived in the US. Because Yes you traveled outside the US as you didn't even live here. Do you see how that sounds? I will only do from I came here til when I file the petition because I'm filing with the 3 year rule.
I see your point. Then I am gonna go ahead and use 3 years for Address, Employment and answer NO to Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years? Since I only moved to and lived here, in the US as of 6/30/16
Thank you for your input.

They ask for 5 years because of those who apply for the 5 year rule.
I personally would not put any dates on there from before I arrived on the K-1 visa.
The only thing with this the question is Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years?
If I go since I came on the K1 visa I have never traveled outside the US I would put no, however if I strictly answer the question I did travel outside the US in the past 5 years then I have to put yes and put the dates.

Thank you all! Should I do the same thing for Address and Employment? Just 3 years? Say since I arrived on the K1 visa.

Hi all,
I recently got the approval for my i-751 and I will be eligible to apply for Citizenship on 10/29/2019
I have a question regarding the time spent out side the US.
I started the online application and I will submit it as soon as I am eligible.
I became a LPR on 1/27/17 and never traveled outside the US since I became a LPR, in fact I arrived on a K1 visa on 6/30/16 and never left the US since then.
BUT -Before i became a LPR - I have been in the US on a Tourist visa for a month and departed on 1/12/15
Then I returned back to the US on 6/15/15 on a J-1 Visa (Work and Travel - 2 year rule did not apply for AOS) and departed on 10/30/15.
So I was outside the US between 1/12/15 and 6/15/15 and then 10/30/15-6/30/16 when I came on a K1 visa. so total of 396 days outside, but was not a LPR back then.I added these dates since they asked for the last 5 years.
Silly question, but this won't be an issue, correct?
I know one of the requirements is: Be physically present in the United States for at least 18 months out of the 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing the application.
Thank you!

My 751 and my kid (751A) case statuses changed to “new card is being produced”.
We filed on September 2018, together with our dependent child. The case statuses stopped as “fingerprint fee is received”. Although we did our fingerprints on 7/1/2019, the statuses never updated until last night.Congratulations! Happy days!

I submitted my application for removal of condition on October 1st 2019. I know is too early for updates, but what should I be expecting first and when ? Thanks
Not sure if you realized but this is the October 2018 Filers thread.
Anyways, welcome to the ROC Journey!
It's going to be a long process.
First thing your check will be cashed within a week, usually 3-5 business days from the day they received.
The 18 Month Extension should be mailed to you within 2-4 weeks, maybe less. I have seen people getting it within 1-2 weeks.
A Service Center will be assign to your petition. When the time comes you will receive the Biometrics Appointment or a Letter stating that they will reuse your biometrics. You can expect the Bio letter anytime within a 5-10 months. I received mine 8 months after they received the petion.
Good luck!

Thanks for posting this information.
I remember you are Oct 2018 filer. Don't know why our neighbors got approved but we are the left over.
Yes, October filler here. Going on my 11th month on Monday. Not sure how they go, I was thinking batches but nothing makes sense right now.
Eligible for citizenship on October 29. Thinking of applying as soon as I am eligible.

Yeah mine changed, but only on the new website twice, On 7/1 and on 7/2. - I did bio 7/1

Me either.
I did fingerprint on July 1st, 2019.
What are your first six numbers of the receipt?
LIN19900X

Oh man, the approvals are so random that it does not make much sense.
Lots of people that filed after I did already got approved.
The case right before mine just got approved last week, the case right after mine got RFE, on 9/9. Still waiting for an update.

I started wondering if the post-biometrics review speed has anything to do with the applicant's previous status/visa type. (hypothetically, K-1 is slower?)
Could be.
My guess is that the Immigration Officers are assigned batches of multiple forms, since this is a Service Center. (I-485, I-751 etc) and some officers are faster, some or slower.
I see that yours was received on 10/29, mine was received one day later, 10/30.
Our cases can be with the same IO, collecting dust on a desk.

LIN filer still waiting. Getting anxious when we see more and more LIN filers getting approved. The online status still shows 'We received your case', even though my wife did biometrics on July 2nd.
Same, did bio July 1st.
Fingerprint Review Completed on the new website. Old website still shows Fingerprint Fee was Accepted.

What is the second site?
Yes, in signed up for informed delivery but the things I’m missing were never caught by it.
This is the second, newer website. In my case the old site says Fingerprint fee was accepted, the new website says Fingerprint review was completed.
About USPS - that's really weird.

There is no effect. Admission date is for CR-1. You adjusted while in the US.
"You are deemed to be a lawful permanent resident of the United States as of your original admission or adjustment of status"
I have the same date on my approval notice. Received the Green Card with the correct Residence Since Date.
