egov website status says oath ceremony notice was mailed but my USCIS website says “you attended your interview” and “we approved your application” but “you attended your interview“ is the status I see on the home page but both statuses were posted on feb 10 (interview date).
does anyone know if egov website is more up to date?
Egov website usually updates faster than the other one. Either later today or tomorrow you'll see myuscis account updated as well.
After my interview egov webisite updated while in the interview LOL - my uscis updated 4-5 hours later

Online Status Update: Citizenship Oath Ceremony Has Been Scheduled!
Was hoping for Feb 13th, but the IO laughed that off.
So, either March 6th or March 10th, we figure.
Preferably March 10th, because the IO said she manages that one and ALWAYS makes it a PARTY!!!!
Can't wait.
Best to All,
Suze1

Hello everyone
As some of you know that my interview was today. I was so excited today. Everything went very well. I drove for two hours to Clevland office . I passed the security check. They called my name for the picture and finger print. After 30 minutes , an officer called my name. He was so great person . He welcomed me with a smile . He asked me the civic questions . I passed the First 6 questions so he didn’t have to ask me all the 10
the questions were:
1 - Who was the president during world war1?
2- Name one problem that led to civil war?
3- There were 13 original states, name three of them?
4-The House of Representatives has how many voting members?
5-We elect the president for how many years?
6- What is the name of the Vice President?
He told me that I passed the civic Test.
Then he asked me to read a sentence that he choose
George Washington was the first president of the United States , then he erased it and he asked me to write it.
He asked me some questions from the application to verify that my answers match the information on my application.
He told me congratulations and that I was approved! He printed a letter ( Attached )
My case statues shows that an oath will be scheduled.
I wish all the best to everyone . ❤️
Congratulations! My office is also Cleveland, OH and had my interview on Thursday, 2/6!
very pleasant experience!

Had my interview today in Detroit, filed 10/31. Took about an hour and a half but interview time wasn't too long. The IO conducted the english/civics first and rolled through the 50 yes/no questions on the application very quickly. Was given a sheet that said I had been recommended for approval.
Status changed to "You attended the interview" and "We approved your application" a couple of hours later
Congratulations!

Just came home from the interview!
Recommended for approval!
The interview lasted 15 minutes.
The questions asked were:
- Name the war between the North and the South.
- What is the capital of the United States?
- How many US Senators are there?
- Who is the Speaker of the House?
- When must all men register for the Selective Service?
- Who is in charge of the executive Branch?
Then I had to read - Who elects Congress?
Then I had to type - "The people elect Congress"
Went over the YES & NO questions, confirmed my name change and I was out.
Also, I applied under the 3 year rule, and he crossed out all my info prior to when becoming a LPR - such as address, employment etc.
So no need to put more than 3 years, even if they ask for 5 years on the form.
"One should fill out the form based on his or her statuary period, which in your case is 3 years."
The status on the old site changed directly to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled" as soon as I walked out of his office.
Praise GOD!

I am joining the party. Here are some great questions:
Under our Constitution, some powers belong to the states. What is one power of the states? (Q.42)
What did Susan B. Anthony Do? (Q.77)
The Federalist Papers supported the passage of the U.S. Constitution. Name one of the writers. (Q.67)
What does the judicial branch do? (Q.37)
Who's the Chief of Justice of the United States now? (Q.40)

I have some friends (husband and wife) that applied online within 30 minutes from each other and they both got same day and time appointment for bio, same date, but different hours for interview.

Great. Did you get an email about it? Did the status update on both the portal and USCIS "check case status" tab?
I got an email and a text that my case was updated. Both of them at exactly 12:30 EST.
Update is only on the old website - https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
The myUSCIS account still shows - "We reviewed your biometrics"
However from prior experience - usually myUSCIS updates around midnight. - Same thing happened for me with the Biometrics.

The old website is been having issues lately. It takes forever to load. myUSCIS account is slow, but you can access it.
I check mine quite often, waiting impatiently to have the interview scheduled.

I know someone who had his interview scheduled 43 days before his anniversary. As I am typing this now, he is at the courthouse attending his Oath ceremony
Great data point. It's a hit or a miss with USCIS
