Question:  Is anyone else that is using the USCIS case tracker app getting multiple push notifications throughout the day only to check and see that they are saying the same thing (such as "Fingerprint Review Completed")?

 

I hear the ping about 6 times a day and each time it gets my hopes up for some movement. lol 

Yep, get them all day long, most of the time it shows blank, then I refresh and it’s the same. hate being at work to hear bzzzz only to be the case tracker going off with the same thing, lol

Wife got the biometrics letter in mail today. Action date on it was 06/28/2019. Just got it today, looks like someone took the letter and sat on it all day, it’s all wrinkled!! Definitely wasn’t the mail, the envelope looks pristine besides us ripping it open, haha!!

I can't edit my post above, but the letter was just a waiver of fingerprints letter and letting me know the biometrics fee is not being refunded.

My wife received that same notice about the finger prints being done, however, I believe she may still need to do biometrics. We get notifed by usps for mail we get (Informed Delivery) and she's getting a letter today from uscis. I hope it's not a return or something...now i am worried. ugh.

I am still getting invalid case number as well. My NOA receipt date is 7/10/2018 so it's been weeks, but from what I remember when I did the AOS, it took a few weeks to even show. :/

I notice my wife, conditional perm resident is listed on the NOA as petitioner and beneficiary, is that correct? also it has this in the body of the noa - "if you have not already done so, provide supporting documents to help uscis process your petition and to establish your eligibility to remove the conditions on your permanent residence." I assume that is part of the NOA and doesn't mean we didn't submit the correct evidence? If someone can check their NOA please thank you!!

Went to check the status with the receipt number and get the validation error, anyone else get their noa and can't check the status hehe

As posted earlier I sent my packet July 9th to CSC. Today July 20th the check shows pending as cashed. Should get the NOA soon

EAD/AP were updated as cancelled today due to receiving benefits from another means

Hey everyone. It's nice to read all the EAD/AP and GC news. .

I have been away because I had to urgently travel to Mexico on sunday because my grandma was hospitalized. I knew this could happen anytime and I was worried about being able to travel to be by her side. She and I are very close.

I'm so lucky I had my combo card.

After I messed up buying my flight ticket with my married name, I was able to show my passport with my maiden name and get my boarding pass after showing my marriage certificate.

I was able to be in time to see her and she was aware I was there with her. We said how much we loved each other, we held hands and said our final goodbye.

I will travel back tomorrow to the US and see how the Combo card works. I am nervous, so I hope everything is smooth because I feel so down I don't think I could handle a nasty immigration officer.

I've never mentioned this on here, the wife didn't want me too since we were not doing an emergency AP. But, she too lost her father about 2 months after she arrived here. It was the day after Father's Day. She never got to go back to see him though. I did inform her of the emergency AP we could attempt to get so she could go to the funeral, but after talking she was terrified to risk using something like that to travel back and forego all we have worked for to get her here in the first place and wanted to take that money she would've used and just send it to her family so that all of them could attend the funeral and what not. Every day I can on imagine the hurt she has not getting to say good bye to him or even going to his funeral, and consider myself to be so lucky knowing that I have this woman who has given up so much just to be with me.

Anyway I need to stop, I am at work and can't start tearing up here hehe. I will say this though, I loathe the process we all have to go through. Every time I fill out one of those electronic forms to reduce paper work, which I've done 4 or 5 so far, I think about all of the paperwork that I am placing this on top and giggle thinking about what if I did not fill this form out to get electronic notices...the process is silly, inefficient and seriously repetitive.

It's embarrassing to actually be a US Citizen, born and raised here, knowing we have an agency who puts people through so much just so they may live their lives with loved ones and limit them sometimes so they may not be with their loved ones.

And...we still have the ROC and Citizenship papers!!!! More repeat repeat rinse!

LOL just got a text about the green card being delivered...also the usps.com website just updated also, but I got the green card yesterday! =) haha

Just added edit - They will eventually close that EAD and AP case correct? Or do they actually work those and send that still out..lol!

OMG, I am so addicted to checking the my case website, I've check the wife's case at least 5+ times already today even after getting her green card. I need help....lol!!

Got the green card in the mail last night -- status is still at mail card, no tracking number, usps.com never text/emailed either for the delivery just showed up.

So the story..I saw the package and naturally knew what it was. I got home with all of the mail and put it at the bottom, I then handed some to the wife and said we got nothing just a few bills and an address change form for some reason address to you...she helped open the bills and then I said here's the address change, open it and let's see what they want with that. She starts to open it and then stops and goes feels like there's a card in here and I am like oh really(knowing it's the green card for her) she then grins huge and rips open the envelope and has a huge smile saying oh my god thank you finally over and over.. lol it was fun!

Anyway best of luck to the rest of you still waiting and thank you for any of your assistance, I am sure i'll be back asking more silly questions since uscis decided to have her green card in her maiden name and not the married like we filed and do not even inform us they will use the maiden name...got to love uscis officers who think they have the power of God in them, karma...i hope they remember karma!!

still no update on our case status, still no tracking number. myusps still says no packages are headed out to you. BUT!

this morning i went and got the mail and got 2 envelopes coming from lees summit! 1 was the response to the service request. wooptidoo right. the other one was a priority envelope, so I ran home, opened it aaaaand IT HAD MY EAD AP COMBO CARD IN IT!!! WOOP WOOP we are going to belgium!!

They should change the status for the "mailed card to you" to "we are thinking about mailing to you, it'll be a few more days maybe a week or two or could be even a month"...lol!!

Just received my GREEN CARD in the mail yaaaayyyyyyy........for those of you who are still waiting my prayers are with you keep strong and i'm still gonna be checking on you all when i get the chance.......If not see you all in 2018 for ROC

Just received the AOS Approval Letter yay!! Interview waiver k1 visa!!

However, I noticed a discrepancy. It has my maiden name and not the married name.

I filed all the paperwork in the married name and do not know why this notice came in the maiden name.

All other previous communication i797 and biometrics were received in the married name.

Is the AOS Approval i797 Welcome Letter supposed to be in the married name(how the paperwork was filed) or the maiden name(they just choose what they want to put)??

Thank You, I have searched a lot of websites including this one and just cannot find out the answer, I do have a call into USCIS to ask them how the green card will appear also.
