OK, did more research on cases. I was just checking around 50-100 above and below our case. I did 250-300 above and below and there are a lot of cases received around june 01 that are not approved. I forgot they received thousands of these daily haha!

For those that have done SRs how long did USCIS took to respond? If responded at all yet

I did a SR on 08/24 which got a response on 08/26 that it was assigned, later in the day, I got an update it was completed online under the case for the EAD...I got an email stating the case is under review(not sure what that is) and I would get a response or notice of action shortly(I take this to mean within hours or at least 24-48) as of today 08/31 nothing has been done, no approval, no notice of action, no other response. All other cases around mine have been approved or under review for RFE or RFIE so I'd say it's a guessing game how these are processed or what they do.

I saw someone get close to their 90 days, did a SR for EAD, no response then a few days later get their GC instead of their EAD...good luck!!

hate to be the downer here but im just being realistic here... if she gets waived she can be waived any point which can be within the next few days or it can be months and months from now.. the average waived approval at the NBC is 15-18months... if shes lucky and her case get sent to a local office to be waived then she's still looking at 3-9months for the approval without interview... as i said hate to be the downer but im just giving you realistic timeframes... I'm currently a very high probability of getting my interview waived and im on day 143 now and my last status update was more than 110 days ago for my i-485

Just getting frustrated there's been no EAD approval for her and she's starting to get extremely anxious about it. She was being super patient, but this week she's broken down and cried and thinks she's being ignored!

Need to get my mind on something else and hers, maybe I can get her hooked on football haha!!

Day 91 since received date, no movement on EAD, no RFE or RFIE - SR went unheard besides their cryptic email about shortly...I am loosing faith and getting worried and now the wife is getting worried something went wrong with her cases. Not sure what to do other than hope and pray she is on a waiver since she is a K1 Visa and they are actually going to approve the GC in a few days.

I think the status of the EAD is supposed to change from New card is being produced to Case was approved to Card was picked up by the USPS to Card was delivered to my by the post office.

It'll be so nice to get that EAD card is being produced then have to wait for that to be sent in 2 weeks hehe With our luck i'll get that in oct/nov lol!!!

Do they count from received date 01JUN16 or NOA date 09JUN16 - I am starting to think maybe ours is still waiting for a background check. Might have the wife just call tomorrow and see if we can get a live person who maybe knows what is going on.

My service request was put in day 79 or day 80 a way I was told to expect a responce within 3weeks... Everyday I checked and it still wasn't assigned to an officer then on day 91 my status changed to card in production but my SR still said "not yet assigned to an officer"... My current status still says it wasn't assigned to an officer not that it matters anymore but it goes to show your documents still get approved even if your case status doesn't update accordingly

Oh...I just checked the website and found 3 messages to my SR: 1) ... inquiry was assigned 2) ...response sent 3) ...inquiry completed

So, even though I didn't get a confirmation email looks like somebody did something. I'd love to know what though.

That's us too, but we got the email lol - wife checked the mail today and still no NOA for the SR...so we are at a loss, we are on day 90 of EAD and others about a week or so past our received date have gotten approve or received their EAD.

..well, only I didn't even get the email!

Did you do it online or call them? I did it yesterday morning online and didn't get any other confirmation besides the SR # to my submitted request (stating I should expect a reply by 09/20) .... pfffffff ?

I'm getting a bit worried now. I almost think they ignore my application and SR on purpose.

My wife is in the same boat as you guys...did SR got the email it was being looked at while online it says completed and this was last Friday and nothing so far, shortly must be a few weeks haha

Still no EAD/AP approval and the SR was completed Friday evening 26AUG2016 , wonder what is going on with this...starting to worry now, no NOA from the SR either, just an email saying it's completed and they'll tell me what they will be doing shortly. WORRIED!!

Wife is a K1, no EAD approval with a received date of 01JUN16 - also did a SR and they said it's completed and they'll get to me shortly and nothing....I don't think the officer assigned to our case is at work lol!!

My combo card has been mailed to me! Havent received tracking # not sure if they send any. Hopefully card gets here soon!

I am not sure, I am more busy at work today, so I hadn't checked the website until after I got the email stating they'd respond shortly, sorry.

Got my combo-card today. Hope all of you guys get your cards soon .I'am waiting to finish my interview the 31st august now also tomorrow i have my driver licence test, hope i pass it.

Got my combo card today. Just wondering, if any of you knows if I can use my combo card to ask for a name change in my SSN card as my card still bears my single name. And if so, how many days do you think is enough for me to go in SSA office and ask for a name change? Thanks a bunch! Hoping for speedy process for the rest of the group. ♥️♥️♥️

Congrats, sorry I am unsure how that works, when we filed, we did her new name on the forms. All NOA has come in her new name!

I just did a SR, text the wife to inform her and got an OK lovey....so I am good whew!

I get on via a tracker on android, also the uscis website and plus I have an account for us with the cases on the uscis website.

The cases around mine on the tracker shows approved, but close to 80 below mine some are still june 1, then some around 100 above are showing may 31 and june 1. So I can not find any rhyme or reason on how they assign numbers or work their cases. I thought uscis went in order unless you get a RFE or RFIE but that just doesn't appear to be correct.

Oooffff that's long but approaching soon your 90 days mark.. Some field offices are slower than others... Finger crossed we hear soon. My husband is super anxy from not working.

The waiting is the hardest part!

I spoke with the Wife on my lunch and told her some more on here got updates, so I think I have the go on the SR tonight when I get home if we get no updates today!
