Bebe Love got a reaction from brasileiro in Email Format for NVC Case NUmber Inquiry
I just sent an email using the format described above from VJ. I did immediately receive an autoreply, so at least I'm sure the email went in to NVC. We are waiting for our case number now at 25 days. Timelines that I've seen updated have been running 22-29 days. I have seen a case on VJ where the petition was lost between noa2 and NVC.....as you've read, it does happen....why they explain to make a duplicate copy of your whole package. The couple had waited about 6 months. This was a few years ago. This is an update from April 2016.

Haaaaaaa yaaaaa I had to google this up. I knew it was in VJ but couldn't remember where to look for it.
I think thats part of newbies problems if they don't know where/what tab to look for things. And I wanted to point out my response was a current one, and that people should receive an immediate auto reply now. Not sure if they did in 2008 or not.
Thanks for the links you have posted. I've forwarded your link above to my fiance' several times for her to be familiar with each process as we go through them. I was a CR-1 coming through here in 2012, sorry to say I have to do this again; but have talked to several people from Youtube, Facebook, and expat forums who went through the same thing, so once hearing it from others, it made me not feel so bad about it. We are looking forward to moving to Dumaguete in about 3 years! Thanks Hank......old Cary, we've been friends outside of meeting on VJ and now FB for years now also.
Looking forward to another trip over in May for her interview and a little vacation.

She said she doesn't really want to even acquire her citizenship, but I think its a good idea she does. We plan on living in Florida for winter months, and 8 months in Dumaguete. Yaaaaaaa I talk to Bud, and Lucy a lot on FB, and Cory, Ned's friend; he and his fiancé just got married in SD April 16th I think it was.
We spent 2 weeks in Dumaguete for the Buglasan Festival in October; hot springs, dolphin cruise is where our profile picture came from, on the front of the Dolphin One....at Bais. I'll have to read up to do the AOS, SSN, etc, and Yes I think we'll stay long enough to get her citizenship, so traveling back and forth won't be a hassle; and the kids can go to college in Florida in 10 years if we desire; fiancé is enrolling at UP open campus so she can work towards her degree while in USA. I met a lot of expats in Dumaguete who have lived there 10 to 20 years, several Aussies, who love it there. I love to dive, and there are plenty of things to do outdoors, like in Neds videos. I'll be there for about a month in May. As soon as she completes her medicals and kids, and PASSES, then I'll order flights. We are doing Mt. Pinatubo, and then a group of us climbing Mt. Pulag near Baguio. Let me know if you are ever heading over there.
Are you retiring there? TC We are driving up through TN in July for wedding in Indiana July 13th. Are you near 75/24 ?? We can meet up for lunch and a FB selfie!! haa She wants to see the countryside, Stone Mountain, Atlanta Aquarium, so we'll drive up over a few days.

I married mine in the Phils and brought her to Jax, Fl...then to find out her cousin and aunt both lived here already?! Wow what a coincidence!!! Found out it was her cousin who lived here had emailed me, not the ex...so I wrote a letter and gave them the web site and info to investigate where the emails originated from; her cousin open the account and paid for it, and used her login and PW, but I'm sure the emails will show they were typed from a computer in Jax Fl. She got an RFE instead of her GC after applying for her ROC, but she already had quit college to take a min wage job, changed her address on her uscis profile to her aunts house, and opened her own checking acc, then she wanted to come back home after getting the RFE.....nope...I refused...she is waiting hearing, and engaged to an ex navy guy now....

None of which will matter one bit to USCIS, she has no legal path to stay. His case was closed when the visa was issued and used. Had she filed to adjust status after marriage then a new case would have been opened. At the current time there is nothing for him to do. There are no open cases. The only thing open is her I-94 which allows her to legally stay in the USA for 90 days if she marries or not. He didn't marry her, what she does now is up to her and not him. Even if she chooses to stay illegally, he can't force her onto an airplane.

Only your most recent tax return and W2 are required. Bank statements are not needed.
    Follow the embassy instructions letter
You meet the 125% requirement of the I-864P then all is good

Your dog must be vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days before traveling. It also will need to be vet checked for screw worm 1 week before traveling. The Philippines is on the list of countries that need this check. Bring this paperwork with you when you bring your pet to the USA. That is the extent of what the USA is going to want on your dog when you bring it. Next is totally dependent on the airlines you chose. You'll need to look at what they require for that information.
Cats do not require rabies vaccination. All other pet types, are going to be rather difficult.

You won't need bank statements. Take along your I-134, 2015 tax return, W-2, and recent pay stubs. They may not ask for any of those, but if they do, you better have them with you.
Usually, people get their medical a week or two before the interview. You can cut it a bit closer than one week if you need to.

Did you pay the ELIS fee ($165 ) online at the USCIS website? Green cards are usual 2- 4 weeks once the ELIS is paid, and POE.
Psst! Immigrant visa Once ELIS fee is paid and they clear POE green card is processed and sent out

Absolutely you can and if you are looking for someone who did it before, I did. I don't know how much it pushed them to approve my ROC, but my ROC was approved exactly one business day following my N400 NOA date.
... and this is the official document that explains you can https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws%20and%20Regulations/Memoranda/cond_perm_resident_.pdf .

Youhave nothing to worry about. It's still early. It could take another week or two to get your MNL case number. Just keep calling every day.
If you keep calling, you'll get your MNL case number a lot faster than those people who simply wait for the NVC to notify them. And you will be way ahead of the game compared to those people who wait for the U.S. Embassy Manila to notify them that they are eligible to schedule an interview. Way way ahead.

Anything after NOA2 is pretty much country-specific. Look up your country specific consulate you'll be processing through and find their instructions. These vary as not every country asks for the same things to bring to the interview with you.
Hop on over to the regional subforum and ask there from other members who have processed thru the same consulate you'll be processing through.
    Good luck!!

Plan on getting frustrated so learn to hold it inside. Calm is the best thing. I know, been there done that. Taught my wife. Took about a year. Now she drives everywhere as long as she has her gps. I started out letting her drive on the weekends and nights at the local High School parking lot. It's big and wide open.
    Good luck.
